This perfume is a fruit-spice cocktail that has nothing to do with anything I’ve ever smelled before. The opening is super citrusy, a fruit bomb; I smell a lot of pineapple and the sweetness of honey, but in seconds it stops being a standard fruity scent due to that curious contrast between the sparkling and the spicy-hot, with vanilla, tonka bean, and cinnamon. It’s a fruity aroma with a very oriental and sweet touch. In terms of performance, it works great on my skin: for the first two hours, it projects like crazy, then fades slowly until it sits close to the skin. It lasts about 6-8 hours on skin (days on clothes). It’s clearly noticeable, doesn’t go unnoticed, and people have complimented me many times. Given the scent and that intense initial projection, I see it more for cold or not-so-warm weather, though maybe on a cool summer night too. It’s definitely among my favorites from Oveh. Overall, they’re very good for the price, and they even send a sample so you can return it for free if you don’t like it.
Since I saw the Oveh Madrid house, I didn’t hesitate to grab one of their perfumes to support my city’s project. Out of all their creations, this was the one that tempted me the most. After trying others at Primor, I confirm I made the right choice, though I’d love to try the rest. Per Hai kicks off with an absolutely brutal citrus and fruity opening, settling into an intense, spiced vanilla note with a touch of honey. What I love most is that it has a base reminiscent of a classic cologne but hyper-modernized, a nod to one of its founders coming from the Álvarez Gómez family. It’s spiced, oriental, and has the perfect amount of sweetness. The trail is moderate-to-strong and lasts about 9 hours on me. The bottle is minimalist but that wooden cap gives it so much style, and the quality is top-notch. Plus, you can buy blind without risk because they send a sample to try and return if you don’t like it before opening the bottle. A magnificent proposal.
