Pedro del Hierro for Men is a very high-quality perfume that exudes elegance. It starts with a bit alcoholic citrus but briefly, as within seconds you feel that sublime lemon. The heart note that starts a few minutes later is gingered and very fresh. Half an hour later comes the best part: that base note that lasts about three hours, full of elegant vetiver with a bit of amber to round off the sweetness. It’s a true beauty. It’s a perfume for men, not for teenagers. The trail is medium, not suffocating; rather, you want to keep following the scent.
Undoubtedly a great fragrance; it’s my second bottle, and this proves that if designer houses want to, they can make fragrances that are more than worthy. It’s very Mediterranean, herbal, and fresh, but with undeniable presence. It has a citrus opening but immediately starts the herbal part with lavender, and vetiver is what I notice most, but always very citrusy to end with that soapy touch of musk. On my skin, more than 7 hours, quite perceptible in the first hours with medium-high projection and trail. A delicious fragrance that stands up to many designer ones and even some niche scents.
The bergamot opening is surprisingly powerful but fades quickly. Over time, the ginger blended with soft lavender evolves into something soapy. It’s not art, but it’s very well made: an all-rounder to look good without being annoying, perfect for the office or guests, not for partying. Best for a slightly older crowd. Lasts about 7 hours and a bit more.
The opening is a bit disorienting with the potency of the grapefruit, but only for the first few seconds. From then on, as time passes, I’ve liked it more and more. The central note that stands out most is the ginger, mixed with a soft lavender, evolving into a soapy point. Not being a work of art, it seems very interesting and well-made. It’s an all-terrain fragrance, to look good without offending anyone. At the office, visiting friends, or at a meal, but not for the club or picking up girls. Aimed at those of us who are a bit grown-up. Regarding longevity, similar to the previous comment, perfectly 7 hours and a bit more.
Mediterranean fragrance, clean and neat that could be worn all year, preferably in warm months. It sparkles with citrus, lavender, and ginger, ending soapy and green, but not in the old-fashioned sense. Performance isn’t bad for this type of fragrance (about 5 hours, though it doesn’t last as well in intense heat). As mentioned, you’ve probably smelled it before, and yes, it reminds you of a clothing store air freshener, in a good way.
For the price, it’s a pretty good fragrance, very pleasant, clean, and neat. It has that ginger and lavender that make it a masterpiece along with its pepper; it’s totally worth it, a total hit.

Very similar to Azzaro Cologne Intense, with more projection and three times cheaper.
I love it, fresh, with that astringent smell similar to Eau Fraiche from the same house, although Fraiche lasts longer for me. Ideal for the heat.
I love it: fresh with that signature astringent smell typical of the brand, similar to their Eau Fraîche (though that one lasts longer). Ideal for the heat.
A modernized classic with an Italian style, similar to Acqua di Parma’s cologne but more current and sharp. It’s a citrus-musk scent packed with masculinity. Projection is good for the first hour, then drops to skin level for another 4 or 5 hours. Easy to wear after a shower or at the office. It has originality, and the musk is very noticeable. Not 100% natural, but it delivers. 20 euros for 100ml, beautiful design, magnetic cap, and a distinct aroma. Forget Zara.
It’s a modernized classic, Italian style, close to the idea of Acqua di Parma but more current and sharp, not as soft. It’s a citrusy musky aroma, heavily masculine. Projection is good for the first hour, then drops to skin-level for another 4 or 5 hours. Easy to wear, ideal after a shower or for the office. It has doses of originality; I feel it’s very musky. It’s not too natural but performs very well. 20 euros for 100ml, designer quality, nice packaging, magnetic cap, original scent… forget Zara and imitations.
Brutal fragrance for the price it has today when on sale at some chains. Today itself I grabbed a pack that includes an after-shave balm and 100ml cologne for just 14€.
I’m the first to say it: it smells almost identical to Creed’s Himalaya. I laugh reading the descriptions of icy mountains for one and Mediterranean breeze for this one; they share almost all the notes. Creed has a bit more quality, but not by much. I’m actually testing them side by side, and it’s ridiculous. I paid 10 euros at Primaprix and I have the real deal, not a tester from El Corte Inglés.
