  • I admit, I tried this fragrance after its reformulation, along with the bottle and box redesign that happened a few years ago. It’s a completely different scent, where the standout is that blend of leather with earthy patchouli, geranium, and sandalwood. The smell is very bold, but in a good way, and it’s fascinating. For me, it’s one of the best leathers I’ve ever tried. That said, I guess due to the reformulation, the sillage is very weak at first, and sadly, the longevity is quite short; on my skin, it barely lasts 3-4 hours, and I swear I’m generous. From the start, it feels nothing dense. Still, highly recommended to try it as an olfactory experience. In this regard, I rate it a masterpiece.

  • Parfum d’Habit is fucking incredible. The patchouli and leather blend perfectly with sparkling blackcurrants over a bed of sweet amber. The patchouli is earthy and dry, giving the leather a powdery touch that ends up soft like sweet suede—I love it, it’s unique and very original. It smells very vintage, but it doesn’t feel dated; it’s super elegant and, despite appearances, reminds me of the initial dry-down of the old Hermès Bel Ami. I never tried the old version, which people say was watered down, but I do notice the projection is almost light, which I didn’t like. Otherwise, it’s an original olfactory masterpiece dedicated to patchouli. Rating: 8.5
