Here’s my second review. Since I’m not an expert, I’ll stick to affordable perfumes for now. I don’t want anyone to spend a fortune based on my opinion 😅 (90% of my purchases are blind buys following recommendations on Fragrántica), and I can say I have zero regrets. I absolutely love the ritual of receiving it, waiting until night, opening the bottle, and with the thrill of discovering a treasure, spraying it on and enjoying the moment. I bought Pañaché because I saw it being compared to the original Rive Gauche (my scent, my signature for 20 years, my first great love lost forever after its reformulation). Right out of the bottle, it’s the closest match I’ve found. If you want to feel that memory for a moment, it’s worth the 15€. But that similarity fades in seconds. What remains is a pleasant, powdery, soapy scent—vintage without being animalic. My only gripe is that it smells very synthetic, with that lingering alcohol or bath bomb vibe, even if it’s pleasant. Still, for that price and that brief moment where my heart tightens remembering my beloved Rive Gauche, I’d buy it again. Just like when a song plays and you feel that sting of your first love’s kiss. A big hug to everyone crying over fragrances lost forever!
