  Oriental Sans Souci is a classic I absolutely love; unlike others in its style, it’s more subtle and balanced. It starts with a brief citrus burst, then evolves into an old vanity scent—high-quality soap and elegant woman. It strikes a perfect balance between French fragrance and exotic, slightly animalic notes, very well-crafted for its time. In the heart, that floral combo of jasmine, rose, and ylang-ylang with a powdery touch, sitting on a base of patchouli and moss that linger on the skin for hours. It has moderate sillage and lasts over 12 hours on my skin. While many call it unisex, I find it feminine, though I acknowledge that assigning gender to perfumes is subjective and depends on personal experience. Some might see it as vintage, but for lovers of classic cuts, it’s a delight. I’ve worn it with pleasure, and like any scent that makes us vibrate, I believe it has a place in modern perfumery.
