Organ #2 by Filippo Sorcinelli Brings Smoke and Resin Together

Filippo Sorcinelli introduces Organ #2, a new oriental woody fragrance for women and men. The perfume was launched in 2026 and composed by Sorcinelli himself, staying close to the experimental spirit of his brand.

The opening pairs lime with pink pepper for a bright, biting start. The heart then shifts into darker territory with smoke, labdanum, and oud, while incense, styrax, and oakmoss round out the base.

Organ #2 sits firmly in the oriental woody family, with dominant accords of amber, smoke, balsamic, wood, oud, and warm spice. It is a dense, contemplative composition rather than a casual scent, and it rewards time on the skin.

The lime note is not particularly juicy; it acts more like a citrus spark that sets off the pink pepper. From there, the fragrance grows smokier and more resinous. Labdanum adds warmth, and oud contributes its distinctive leathery-wood texture, creating a heart that feels both ancient and modern.

At the base, incense brings a ceremonial quality, while styrax adds balsamic depth. Oakmoss grounds the blend with an earthy, slightly mossy edge. The overall effect is warm, woody, and evenly balanced between light and shadow.

Early ratings are encouraging: Organ #2 currently holds an average of 4.62 out of 5, based on 16 votes. With only two written reviews so far, the public record is still small, but the initial response suggests a strong reception.

This is for fans of smoky, resinous orientals and woody perfumes. It will also appeal to collectors looking for a new author-driven release from an established niche brand.

Organ #2 is a confident addition to Filippo Sorcinelli’s catalog. It balances a bright opening with a dark, resinous heart, and the result feels both wearable and distinctive. A solid choice for anyone who wants a perfume with real presence.

This would be the incense perfume of this collection. With a more wearable and more commercial incense, since it is very similar to Bentley For Men Absolute with that smell of a freshly sharpened pencil. It is that sensation of dry, freshly cut wood with a slight smoky touch, very realistic woods, combined with a less liturgical and more wearable incense. Longevity over 6 hours and with a noticeable trail and incredible sillage, and the quality of the materials that this artist always uses.

I’m not especially good at identifying notes or olfactory accords, but when I wear a new perfume for the first time, I take some time recreating the sensations and places it evokes. Organ #2 makes me feel inside a temple flooded with light. The sun’s rays pass through the stained-glass windows and turn the incense smoke into golden columns suspended in the air. The organ resounds under the vaults while a great celebration begins. Everything seems full of life, hope and joy. It doesn’t convey quiet reflection or melancholy; for that, we have other Sorcinellis that are equally magnificent. It conveys celebration to me. A solemn, luminous and deeply spiritual celebration. If there was any fragrance when Christ rose again, it had to be this one.
