I was absolutely blown away by this scent in the store a month ago and finally picked it up yesterday. It opens with a juicy, realistic mango, accented by a spicy, energetic ginger note that I love. As it dries down, it sweetens slightly, shifting from playful to something more structured, fruity, tropical, and very sexy. I can’t imagine anyone not loving it. The longevity is a bit lower than expected since it’s new, but I’ll wear it this summer and let it mature for later. It’s unisex, perhaps leaning slightly feminine, but in summer on men, it’s a compliment bomb. For me, having the Sceptre Malachite, the Ophidian feels like its older, more mature, and better-crafted sibling. Plus, the packaging is brutal. Bravo, Paris Corner. Scent: 9.5/10, Projection: 8.5/10, Longevity: 6/10. Perfect for going out at night, dates, or casual plans.

A curious fragrance. It belongs to the Sceptre Malachite line but is of much higher quality and less unisex. It remains unisex, yet as it dries, it takes on a more masculine edge. The dry-down is intriguing; it seems to appear and disappear, though after 12 hours it sits right on the skin. It smells good but feels a bit flat, just mango. So I tried blending it halfway with Lataffa Asad, or mixing 60-70% Ophidian with the rest Asad, and the result was rich, much more masculine, with that sharp spicy touch over the deep, dense mango base.
