  I don’t know if I’ve mentioned Oliver & Co before, but I’ve tried them all and many are hits, even some truly excellent ones. Here’s Orion: it starts shy and then makes its presence felt everywhere. Notes of sweet honey, anise, and a barely perceptible touch of leather. The card only lists the anise; the balsam of Peru gives that honeyed nuance, and safrole evokes the skin memory. Everything blends beautifully with nothing standing out separately; it clings to the skin and lasts about 8 hours, though you can still detect it clearly up to the 4-hour mark. It’s like it fills the room without trying to, and when you walk back in, there it is. It’s unisex, working equally well for men and women. If you’re looking for something different and not overdone, Orion has its own signature. It’s not a summer scent due to its warmth, though it works well during the day; night is its true home. As for versatility, it’s neither too versatile nor too restrictive; since it’s not intrusive, I wear it anywhere, but that’s a matter of personal taste. If you don’t know the brand, give it a try because they have gorgeous fragrances at great prices.
