Independent fragrance designer Oliver Valverde is known as a strange figure in the world of perfumery. Since he was a child, he has been fascinated by scientific laboratories and nature. From an early age, he learned to appreciate beautiful raw materials in their purest form. His father was a marble sculptor. Born in Andalucía, Spain, Oliver grew up visiting his workshop, learning the skill of transforming natural elements. At the age of 28, after moving to Madrid, he began mixing botanical essences and aroma-molecules as a hobby. In the blink of an eye, he realized he was discovering something unknown yet familiar at the same time. It was a crucial revelation for his life. Despite his lack of formal training in the field of perfumery and not imposing any creative limits, Oliver began experimenting with both natural and synthetic elements, combined with innovative and creative concepts to transform them into a new quality: unconventional fragrances that transcend time and trends. Through this creative mindset, Oliver translates into his creations his vision of current perfumery: always breaking codes from both an olfactory and visual perspective.
