  • A warm, enveloping, and loving hug. It feels precious, even for bedtime. The NR musks drive me crazy; while they’re mostly similar, the differences are noticeable here. La Fleur Parfum is fresher and playful, For Her EDP has a sharper, more distinguished musk, Narciso Ambree smells heavily of frangipani (which I find cloying), Poudre is dustier, and Narciso a secas is the closest to this one, though this is even dustier and more loving. The Musc line is on another level—gorgeous and potent. Surprisingly, the only one that doesn’t work for me is the famous For Her EDT. In short: wonderful.

  • A poem to roses. To my mind, Narciso Rodríguez has one of the most beautiful rose notes in the world. This one is spicier than the previous one, less powdery, with a more evident and clean rose, while the musk tones down to let the pepper take center stage. On my skin, it lasts longer than the EDP, easily hitting six hours with good projection; it matched my skin perfectly and turned into a bomb. If you already have the EDP and love it, there’s no need to buy this, as they become identical once dried down.

  • A poem to roses. In my opinion, Narciso Rodríguez has one of the most beautiful rose notes in the world. This one is spicier than the previous, less powdery, with a more evident and clean rose, and the musk tones down to let the pepper take center stage. On my skin, it lasts longer than the EDP, easily reaching 6 hours and still projecting; it matched my skin beautifully and turned into a bomb. If you already have the EDP and love it, I don’t see a need to buy this, as they share a point where they become identical when dry.

  • A very rich, super delicate, and subtle fragrance. It feels refined and balanced, but lacks body. The scent is exquisite but fades quickly—quiet, unobtrusive, and ephemeral. I didn’t buy the EDP because they’re different fragrances; I prefer this one, but the other has better longevity. With the For Her EDP, it lasts longer, but the roses become very musky. I’ve heard the rose and pepper blend in other fragrances with more body. The base is very poor and doesn’t support the roses. It feels like an unfinished design. Longevity: low. Sillage: none. Scent: 7/10. The bottle is gorgeous.

  • I was gifted this for Christmas and at first thought I’d made a mistake: it smelled like old talcum powder and wasn’t my style. But with wear, it won my heart. You don’t need to apply much, and it works great paired with an English citrus cologne. It’s super feminine, elegant, and soft. The floral notes come out very fine and delicate. I recommend it for cold days or daytime wear.
