Despite its delicate name, Musk Flower isn't just a soft floral. It layers peony, violet, rhubarb and rasppery over a heart of musk and rose, and finishes with leather, smoke, sandalwood and tonka bean.
The opening is surprisingly fresh and slightly tart, thanks to rhubarb and rasppery. Peony and violet add a powdery, almost vintage feel, creating an immediate contrast that sets the stage for what's to come.
At the heart, musk takes over—creamy, animalic, and wonderfully skin-like. Rose and carnation deepen the floral character, while vétiver adds an earthy, woody backbone that keeps things grounded.
