A soft, fresh cologne with a light sillage and longevity, but with an intoxicating aroma. I love that my wife smells like this; it fascinates me and seems super original. The moonflower is noticeable throughout; the chamomile is in harmony, but not dominant to me. It’s one of the feminine fragrances I like the most. I hope they release a perfume version.
I ordered it and have been wearing it for a week; it sounded familiar, hmm… Voyage by Hermès? Yes, and unfortunately, not because I dislike Voyage, but because I’ve already closed that chapter with it—I even gifted it to my brother (I never give away or sell my perfumes, I cling to them, lol), but I wanted to be wrong. One day, out with my dad, he was waiting for me in the car. I got in and he said: Did you put on d’Hermès? 😖 It wasn’t just my idea. Well, it’s pleasant, no doubt, but my expectations were different; I would have liked the chamomile to be more prominent, especially since I’m now obsessed with herbal notes, aldehydes, and baby colognes. Back to Moonlit, I detect vetiver, which isn’t listed among its notes. I understand it was created with the concept of sleeping and relaxing, meant to be sprayed on a pillow, blah blah. This scent doesn’t relax me; it energizes me! And I’m not going to pay 160 bucks to spray my pillow (value here in Chile). Longevity is 1 to 2 hours.
Correction: Yesterday I tested Voyage on one doll and Moonlit on another; they are entirely different worlds, nothing to do with inspirations. I’m just discovering them myself (well, I’m not the only one).
