I tested it three times: mysterious, attractive, and nocturnal. It’s a standout opening without being beastly, settles down after two hours to a moderate presence, but lasts its full eight hours well. Not identical, but it gave me similar vibes to Bvlgari’s Man in Black. Smoky, incense, and benzoin notes with a spicy opening, woods typical of the Malbec line, and subtle sweet touches that make you want to feel it again. Pairs with the night with freshness; ideal for dressing up with mysterious seduction.
Buy blind for those accords that are my favorites: oriental, spicy, woody, and sweet. If it reminds you of MIB, it’s inevitable. They’re similar but distinct; here there’s no tobacco or leather, just a powerful base of sandalwood and amber. It also brings to mind Homem de Natura, to the point that for me they feel redundant. I love it: acceptable longevity, good projection, and very cheap at around $40 in Argentina. It’s a night scent, dark as the bottle, mature, serious, and imposing.
