This perfume smells very vintage. The first impression was like an old men’s cologne or splash (though the ingredient quality is great), something I’ve smelled before, probably on my dad or my uncles. I think that was the intention: recreating the classic Italian fougère, more citrusy than herbal. In the opening, I recognize yellow lemon, sage, and geranium—fresh with a spicy kick. This phase lasts three hours or more. Then it turns into a warm amber with a touch of cinnamon, not too sweet. It’s nice, long-lasting (12+ hours), and refined, but I think it’s not original enough for the price of this collection, which is much more expensive than their other lines.
I thought I’d love it because a YouTuber compared it to Amouage, but it’s nothing like that. The scent doesn’t suit me; the ingredient blend is very vintage, overly spicy, and even a bit irritating. I was lucky a friend liked it, so I gave it to her, but don’t buy this blindly—it’s not for women or young people.
