I’ll start by saying this is the one I like least out of Zara’s four new ‘author’ fragrances. I won’t go into detail because it smells like room freshener or cleaning product. As it dries down, it improves and sweetens, but to get there I have to endure a smell I dislike. It doesn’t smell like perfume, but like car air freshener. What a pity, because Fabrice Pellegrin is a co-author of perfumes I love more, like Azzaro’s Wanted or Issey Miyake’s L’Eau d’Issey Super Majeure. That said, out of the four, this has the best projection; I’ve been wearing it for three hours and can still smell it without lifting my arm.
Incredible creamy vanilla effect that distorts with an almost mentholated green, spicy, and slightly coconutty base. It’s not gourmand but it’s close (unisex). Clear 5-hour longevity, up to 7 on a bubble. Great for daily use and casual plans (office, walks) year-round, ideal in temperate climates. Plus, it gets compliments.
It’s the one I like least of Zara’s 4 new releases. It smells like a home air freshener or cleaning product to me. That said, of the four, it projects the best; I’ve been wearing it for 3 hours without needing to bring my arm close.
Spicy opening that then relaxes into a vanilla that’s not sweet, creamy, and slightly smoky, very pleasant. It’s long-lasting with soft projection at first. I bought it because I love those spicy-vanilla scents that comfort me. Totally unisex. I need to test the performance better, but it could be a personal pleasure scent, cozy enough for sleeping in.
I tested it in the store for several days: very prominent vanilla with long-lasting power. The sillage is limited and not invasive. To my taste, it’s better for fall and winter, not for heat. Nothing urgent; if it’s available in the fall, I’ll buy it, otherwise I’ll look for better options.
Vanilla takes center stage with a spicy opening and a soft, wearable green dry-down, finishing with a creamy sandalwood base. A simple, incredibly rich, and totally non-artificial scent. It doesn’t resemble Eau Duelle or Gris Charnel, even though they share a family; if you like one, you’ll love the other. Unisex and super versatile. Lasts about 6 hours on skin with moderate projection. A gorgeous, distinct vanilla. 100% quality/price ratio.
23€ to the trash, just like the perfume. The vanilla gives me nausea; it smells like Mandarin Flan dust but worse. Don’t make my mistake, go to a store and smell it before buying…
23 euros in the trash, just like the perfume. The vanilla scent gives me nausea. It reminds me of Mandarin Oriental’s flan dust, but worse. Don’t make my mistake and go to the store to smell it before buying.
Sounds like JHG vanilla vibes but with steroids; it has that extra kick that makes it brutal. On my partner’s clothes, it smells like coconut, but on my skin, it’s sweet and feminine. I love it.
In the first few minutes, it reminds me a lot of ‘Lune Feline’. I don’t find it anything like ‘Eau Duelle’. I really like its scent, but

To me, it smells like the beach, like that typical Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen. Vanilla and coconut in a messy way. I like it; very cool summer vibes. It’s a bit much for walks or wearing right after a shower.
It smells like powder for making flan or custard. It’s not unpleasant, but more than a fragrance, it feels like you’re eating a custard. Longevity on skin and sillage is short. After an hour, the vanilla shifts to evoke coconut. The bottle is very elegant, giving off a sense of an expensive perfume, but it’s definitely not your go-to fragrance due to the lack of packaging. If you like sweet and soft fragrances, you might find its charm, especially when discounted to 15.99 euros.
Smells very much like vanilla, nothing spectacular, but I think it meets expectations for the discounted price. The atomizer is horrible in my case, the worst I’ve ever had. I bought three from this Zara line and they’re all the same.
Coconut and vanilla with a bit of musk… not bad, but the atomizer is the worst.
I bought it on discount for $15, but it comes with a different cap than the first version that doesn’t fit at all, and the atomizer is awful—short, weak spray. I have to overapply to smell good. The opening is spicy with cardamom and pepper, sharp and mentholated at first, even making you sneeze. Then it turns powdery and vanilla-scented, like dusted sugar; another review says it smells like custard and they’re right. That’s the entire development. I’m not sure if it’s my version, but the performance is weak. Projection is average for 45 minutes, then it’s just skin scent. It does revive with movement, giving little bursts. Lasts 3-4 hours on skin, similar to Vibrant Leather Oud; hard to last longer, need to reapply. In conclusion, a mature, semi-formal aroma for the office or less formal events, better in autumn; in winter, it lacks density and sweetness.
Tries to smell like mildly spicy vanilla, but when it dries, that powdery note kicks in and it’s disgusting; in my case, it makes me gag and gives me a headache. Terrible. Luckily, the bottle has a screw cap, so you can refill it with pharmacy alcohol and use it as a disinfectant.
A vanilla cake dipped in merengue milk. An excellent fragrance that is, by right, my top pick. I bought it on promotion for 8 euros, so I ended up with 12 backups.

Opens with cardamony, intense and green notes, then dries down to a creamy sandalwood mixed with vanilla; it gives off a coconut vibe even though it’s not listed. Perfect all year round, great for summer nights or heading to a beach bar. It doesn’t have a huge evolution and doesn’t need one. Smells like niche, from a renowned perfumer, at a ridiculous price. Lasts about 6 hours, ideal for going out for a drink. Too bad Zara is discontinuing these little gems.
Starts with cardamomo on the upstroke, intense and green. Then it dries down to a creamy sandalwood blended with vanilla; it might feel like coconut, but it’s just an illusion. Perfect year-round, ideal for summer nights or grabbing a cocktail at the beach bar. It doesn’t evolve much and lacks nothing. Smells like a niche fragrance from a renowned perfumer at a ridiculous price. Lasts about 6 hours, just enough to go out for a drink. What a shame Zara is letting these gems go.
Pretty special and unique to my nose; starts resinous and spicy, like pine. Lasts and projects just enough.
