Descripción
Live Irrésistible by Givenchy is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2015, this composition was created by Dominique Ropion and Claire Liégent. In its opening, the top notes unfold a vibrant combination of pineapple, rose petals, tangerine, and grapefruit. The heart of the fragrance reveals the sweetness of passion fruit, the spice of pepper, and the elegance of rose. To finish, the base notes offer a warm and enveloping blend of praline, vanilla, patchouli, amber, musk, and iris root.

It’s sweet but not cloying (fruity, floral); it has glamour. Longevity on skin is good, on fabrics it’s much better. The sillage is nothing. Summary: it’s lovely because it’s refined.
I had high expectations for this perfume. When I got to the store, they sprayed it on my wrist, and I couldn’t test it properly xd. It’s ultra-sweet; to my taste, it gets cloying. I wouldn’t buy it, but if you like sweet perfumes, this is a good option.
It has a citrus opening, but once it settles, the sweet pineapple and vanilla stand out. It’s very sour and sweet; I can detect the rose, passion fruit, and vanilla on my skin. It’s a bit warm and tropical, like a smoothie of sour fruits. It’s a summery, beachy, daytime perfume with moderate sillage and short longevity; it didn’t last more than an hour on me. It left a soft sweet rose and mild pineapple scent, then patchouli and amber appeared. I preferred Blossom Crush. I tried it in summer and it became unbearable; it lasted over 5 hours, intense, sour, and sweet. The heat made it feel heavy and oppressive.
It’s my next purchase! Smells amazing, super delicious!!! It feels very fruity, the pineapple scent is the main note and the most noticeable.
I recently got a sample and fell in love with the scent; it’s beautiful and sweet. If you like fruity perfumes, especially pineapple, like I do, this is a lovely perfume for daily wear.
I loved its scent! It’s like a sweet praline with chunks of pineapple 😋 but I haven’t used it again because my cousin and my sister said it smelled like ‘old lady’ or ‘grandma’ :c
Sweet and rich, like praline with fruits. Pineapple and passion fruit dominate with a vanilla base. It’s very delicious but a bit weird: the fruits remind me of summer freshness, while the praline and vanilla are warm and evoke cold. I’m not sure when to wear it; it’s too sweet for summer and too fruity for winter, which complicates things a bit. Maybe it works in transition seasons like autumn or spring. Either way, it’s very delicious and quite youthful.
Very fresh and sweet opening. The patchouli notes are noticeable from the first spray and blend with a caramelized raspberry. It’s an inviting scent, not annoying, but with that typical complexity and intensity, it might be a bit overwhelming in very enclosed spaces.
A must-have for winter. The longevity and sillage are brutal. On my skin, I don’t detect the pineapple, but I do smell the citrus and rose opening that turns cheerful with a hint of pepper before giving way to praline, which lasts the longest and stays for hours. I don’t need to reapply; I put it on at 6:30 to go to the office, and it’s still there at 5. With that vanilla patchouli, it’s a perfume I fell in love with and have repurchased several times. My first purchase was blind… what a hit it was.
One of the richest perfumes I’ve ever tried.♥ Sweet but not overpowering, it has that mysterious fruity magic that captivates. It’s delicious, delicate, and very feminine *.* The only downside is the price: the longevity is disappointing. On my skin, it lasts as little as others promise, but this one fades after just two hours. It disappears like a cheap fragrance, which is a shame because you’d have to reapply. Maybe it’s different on its brand, but that’s what happened to me 🙁 Otherwise, the scent is hypnotic; I love it♥♥♥
Hi, I received it after a blind buy. At first, I was surprised and expected something else. But after an hour, it settled and I really liked it because it’s original and stands out from the ordinary. Highly recommended!
At first, I felt overwhelmed because I don’t like very sweet fragrances. But then I fell in love with that mix of pineapple and roses. I finished a 30 ml bottle and bought the largest size. I recommend it for all ages.
I love the Live Irresistible line: it’s sparkling and youthful without being childish or cheap. It smells like praline, roses, and pineapple, sweet but dry and refined. I wear it almost daily.
I smelled it with a grapefruit and pepper opening, it lasts a long time. Then it transitions to amber, patchouli, and musk, ending up like a men’s perfume. I didn’t like how it settled on my skin.
It’s one of the best women’s perfumes: fruity, fresh, youthful, sparkling, and sweet without being cloying. Seductive and attention-grabbing, with Givenchy quality. It captivates, lasts long, and has great sillage. Ideal for blind buys, conquering, romantic dates, or nights out. Works in both informal and formal settings, never fails, and receives lots of compliments.
They gifted it to me and oh my… I only detect pepper and patchouli in industrial quantities. It doesn’t smell fruity or floral at all. Such a pity.
I bought it three years ago and it was one of my favorites for being different and sweet without being heavy. Now, for Christmas 2020, my parents gifted me a 100 ml reformulated bottle, and it smells incredibly heavy, nothing like before. It gave me an allergy, so I put it away. Does anyone know what happened to this perfume?
What a powerful perfume! Pineapple, praline, roses, and patchouli… sweet but sophisticated. It accompanies me all day and is versatile. Since I love potent scents, I wear it in summer thanks to the tropical pineapple note, without being a simple splash. I’m not a fan of soft freshies, but for those seeking power, it’s excellent for summer and other seasons thanks to the patchouli. It achieves a well-balanced sweetness.
I bought it for a birthday and liked it at first, but over time it became unbearable. It’s so overwhelming I can’t breathe; it smells excessively sweet and turns bitter. It has great sillage and longevity, but it’s not for me. I don’t see a connection to the rest of the Irresistible line; it seems made for an older audience. I wouldn’t buy it again, although it’s good for those who like this style.
Smells like ripe pineapple, super fruity and sweet, perfect for summer. At first, it gives me a runny nose and feels a bit heavy, but then I absolutely love it. It’s casual, great to wear with light clothes. Lasts forever on skin and clothes. Delicious!
It’s very similar to Dior Absolutely Blooming, with that chic, sticky vibe Dior has, but this one is fruity while Dior’s is floral. I prefer this one of the two, but it didn’t please me; I found it childish and extremely sweet, even though one of my favorites is So Scandal. The pineapple and passion fruit were overwhelming for me, although I acknowledge the softness of the rose accompanies them. As it dries, it smells fine and elegant, yet still cheerful due to the fruits. I miss that dry-down, but I wasn’t able to tolerate the other notes, and besides, I just can’t handle pineapple.
This EDP is love and not hate; it’s more of a contradiction. There are days I wear it and I love it, and other days it overwhelms me. It has good longevity, sillage, and projection. I use it in spring, summer, and autumn.
Givenchy Live Irrésistible: the first one I tried from the line, and the scent hit me hard. With that bottle, I expected something more floral and sweet, but not on my skin. What stands out most is the pepper mixed with praline over an amber base. It has power; I see it as very good for autumn and winter, with good sillage and longevity. I won’t buy it because although it smells good, it’s not a scent I need in my collection; maybe I’ll try it again in colder weather.
I can’t say I don’t like it; on the contrary, it’s not easy to find. I think it’s discontinued, and I searched until I bought it because I smelled it three years ago and couldn’t get it out of my head. I highlight three main notes: pineapple, praline, patchouli, and amber… I like it from start to finish, but I recommend testing it first. Good longevity on my skin… it’s a beast, lasting more than 8 hours on skin and much longer on clothes; be careful with the sprays.
A delicious sweet fruity scent; I really like the orange with the praline. I recommend it for cold weather because the sillage is potent and it can be overwhelming in the heat. Good longevity, lasting 5 to 8 hours comfortably. You can definitely feel the peppery kick. A great discovery.
Very delicious and pleasant, sweet but fresh. Although it’s quite sweet, it’s not cloying; it has class. All the notes shine in their splendor, it has great sillage, is ultra-feminine, and lasts a long time. On my skin, about 6-7 hours, and much longer on clothes; once I sprayed it on my jacket, stored it for several days, and when I retrieved it, it still smelled intact. Incredible. It’s one of those perfumes that gets praised a lot.
It’s delicious, though being fruity, it’s not so simple. You have to use it lightly because if you overdo it, it ruins the effect; it’s very strong and cloying. Sweet to the point of no return; on my skin, what stands out most is the pineapple and the peach. In heat, it’s hard to handle unless you’re outdoors, and again, few sprays. I recommend trying it several times because the first time it wasn’t what I expected, but then I grew to like it. Excellent performance, longevity, and sillage.
I swear, based on the reviews, I thought I’d love it, but this was my most disappointing blind buy. Maybe the mix of pepper and pineapple is my thing; my nose detects that smell too strongly and I don’t like it. I perceive it as more spicy than sweet, barely sensing anything sweet in the fruity notes. I’ll give it a chance, but I don’t think it will stay in my collection. I suggest smelling and testing it before buying. It’s not a simple scent.
It’s sweet and tropical due to the notes, but super spicy. The pepper is very present, and as it dries down, it becomes woody and spicy, quite unisex. To reiterate: yes, it’s sweet and tropical, with a strong citrus phase from the passion fruit (I’m Colombian and know it well; it’s very noticeable), grapefruit, and orange. The pineapple brings that tropical sweetness. As it dries, there’s a hint of praline and vanilla accompanying the citrus and fruits, followed by that intense, woody, spicy pepper note that can actually tickle your nose, haha.
I tried it in-store and it smelled identical to what I smelled before: starts serious, fresh, and powdery, then turns sweet and nostalgic like Jeanne Arthes’ Amore Mio Forever. Later, it loses the freshness and becomes a milky, coffee scent, similar to Floral Shock—like a coffee with milk. Perfect for winter, and at the end, red berries with vanilla linger, reminiscent of Nina Rouge Extra. It’s sweet and beautiful; I hope it performs the same in the bottle. This will be the first Givenchy in my collection.
I liked it. It’s sweet but refined and sophisticated. The best part is its longevity, over 8 hours on skin, and its trail is high and heavy. Be careful with the sprays.
I arrived expecting a potent pineapple, but it wasn’t like that. The opening is powdery floral with a bit of fruit, and in the base, praline and vanilla. Nothing more; it’s something I’ve smelled elsewhere. I went along with the reviews and I don’t know if it’s my skin, but the pineapple isn’t there. I was disappointed. It’s not ugly, but it’s just another one of the crowd.
It’s a super-sweet, elegant gourmand. It gives me a fruity foot impression because the praline and vanilla envelop the pineapple, orange, and grapefruit (with pineapple standing out). In the base, you can notice the pepper, which makes it unique and sparkling. The longevity is insane: over 8 hours on skin and it lingers on clothes for days. I recommend it blindly.
At first, it smells fresh and fruity, but it lasts only seconds. Then it gets heavy; on my skin, amber stands out, it’s powdery, talcum-like, and strong. In the air, it’s cloyingly sweet. I’d use it in cool climates because it’s suffocating in the heat. It smells different on paper than on skin.
I got free samples of this perfume when buying Revlon highlighters, so I tried it. I’m a classic type and these fragrances aren’t for me. It didn’t disgust me, but it tired me out; maybe it’s the passionfruit and praline, notes I don’t have in my favorites. I found it very strong, so I diluted it with English cologne. In my version, I got compliments.
It’s a heavy fruity opening where pineapple and sweet passionfruit dominate; I don’t sense the flowers, but after a few hours it gets heavy, maybe because the pepper lingers spicy on skin and clothes. It doesn’t work for me in summer, it’s suffocating, but it’s delicious in autumn and winter. The trail is strong, lasts over 10 hours, or stains clothes for days.
Until I met this fragrance, I couldn’t say ‘this is my perfume’. The trail is fantastic. EDP or EDT, but the other versions aren’t even similar. It’s a shame I can hardly find it; I miss it.
For those who think it’s tropical based on the listed notes, DON’T! It’s powdery floral, lots of talc and flowers, nothing fruity or sweet. It’s too generic, something you’ve smelled a thousand times with other perfumes. I had high expectations but it’s disappointing.
To me, it’s a sweetly warm perfume, ideal for autumn or spring. On my skin, the sweetness, praline, vanilla, and sweet pineapple dominate, maybe a ripe passionfruit. I sense more cinnamon than pink pepper. I don’t usually buy sweet perfumes, but this one felt very warm and not heavy.
Live Irresistible smells like fruit and honey, very cheerful and flirty; it seems more mature to me than the Very Irresistible line. I’m not a fan of the lily note, which on my skin smells like burnt caramel, just like in Brit Rhythm Floral, but the tropical fruits (pineapple and passionfruit) stand out as juicy and honeyed. The projection is excellent, very noticeable and long-lasting.
