  Fresh and youthful opening typical of the brand, with ginger and grapefruit, then juniper and aquatic notes giving it that ‘sport’ vibe. The dry down is a bit generic with musk and patchouli; I didn’t notice the vetiver. It’s pretty, but it has Lacoste’s usual issues: moderate longevity (maybe 7 or 8 hours, very skin-scented) and a moderate trail that lasts 2 or 3 hours before fading to a soft, close-to-the-body scent. The third ‘issue’ is the price-to-quality ratio; in my opinion, it’s expensive for what it offers. It’s for young people, from teenagers to college students in their twenties, ideal for summer or spring and daily activities that don’t require something more complex.

  Ugh, it left me drooling. If the gods of Olympus smelled like something, it’s probably this: so fresh, so youthful, so delicious. I loved it, I’d love to smell it on every man I know, especially the young ones.

  What an addictive scent; impossible not to notice that grapefruit note that lingers for a while, super fresh. Reminds me a bit of Azzaro Chrome but it’s more wearable and youthful. I love it. Lasts 8 to 12 hours, projecting well for the first 3 or 4. I recommend it for this summer; the price seems fair, I paid 700 pesos ($41 USD) for 125 ml at Walmart Mexico Online (which has become a great site, prices almost equal to Fragrancenet, free shipping, and 100% security that it’s original). I’m sure those 125 ml will last me 4 summers. I insist, many people despise Lacoste for longevity, but watch out: neither brand nor price guarantees the same performance across the board. For example, once I bought a Chanel on MercadoLibre that turned out to be fake, but that ‘fake’ lasted up to 15 hours, haha.

  One of my favorites for sure: fresh, youthful, and super sporty. It gives me a sense of cleanliness. I had the tester version, and on my skin it lasted about 5 hours, but it’s still a great Lacoste fragrance. My rating: 9/10.

  I think without a doubt it’s the best Lacoste fragrance, even better than Lacoste Pour Homme. It’s like a Tous Man with sweet notes; it’s a beast of a perfume, and on top of that, it comes in 125 ml.

  A fragrance that makes you feel fresh, clean, young, and sophisticated. At this price, it had to have fine touches and good quality, although I wish it were more potent. Scent 8/10, projection 6/10, longevity 6/10.

  After using it for a while and trying other fresh ones, Lacoste Essential Sport leaves a lot to be desired in projection. Literally, you have to apply it under your nose to feel it after an hour.

  Summer is almost over… I found this fragrance delight just in time. Its exquisiteness reveals itself when you strip away the sun: shy freshness, citrus, aquatic, and that very capricious bitter touch that commands your presence. You are the perfect measure of personal delight and that seductive romance of the bold yet reserved bride. I don’t care if it’s autumn or winter; I’m going to use it. 😉

  Much inferior to the original Essential (I think they messed up by releasing something decent) and like almost everything Coty launches, very generic and low quality. Here you can notice a very artificial ‘aquatic’ note, with a slight fruity touch, all ‘seasoned’ with that typical cheap white musk and nothing else. None of the green tones or rose from the original. The perfume is super light, like a perfumed water. Longevity of 1 to 2 hours, with zero trail. Another fail from this manufacturer.

  Pleasant fragrance, 100% for summer, with aquatic and fruity notes, ideal for young people. The only problem is that it doesn’t last long and has weak projection; nothing to be amazed by.

  It all depends on skin pH, that’s where the differences lie. On me, it’s been super exquisite, love at first sniff. It lasted a long time, about 8 to 10 hours with just 3 sprays, maybe a bit longer on clothes. The trail is good, about 1.5 meters in diameter. In an excellent fragrance, I recommend it without doubt. 9/10.
