Kashaf is a woody gem from Ajmal, an incredible bargain that turned out even better than I expected. The opening is a fruity wood explosion with a very beautiful animalic touch, creating an addictive sweet and wild contrast. Soon, the woody notes settle in the background, giving way to red fruit accented with pinkish nuances—a quirky blend I can’t stop sniffing. Then, the woods take center stage: an incredible fusion of oud and sandalwood, dry and woody with subtle fruity rose and a delicious smoky halo. In the dry down, only musk and sandalwood remain, with the last echoes of that initial sweetness, a dry yet friendly scent. It surprised and delighted me. Performance is good, lasting about 7 to 8 hours on skin with a strong trail for the first hour before settling to moderate. It’s a cold, evening fragrance, but so lovely I wear it anytime. Unisex, with a slight masculine lean. Highly recommended for its ridiculously low price if you love sweet woods.
