  • Stunning, dark, and gothic. A beast in terms of longevity and sillage. Could easily be the male version of Dior’s Oud Ispahan. The opening is strong, featuring multiple types of oud and a very prominent rose, even though it’s not listed in the notes. After 20-30 minutes, the magic happens: it transforms into one of the best suit fragrances I’ve ever tried, ideal for a groom. Elegant, striking, classic, and powerful. It evolves over time, shifting from a top oud to floral, then to animalic leather, and back again. On my dry skin, it lasts over 12 hours. A must-buy for oud and rose lovers; I think it offers the best quality-to-price ratio in its category, perfect for diving into this exotic scent.

  • Rich, sensual, and long-lasting. A blind buy from a brand that keeps winning my heart. Sometimes it smells like honey, other times like wood, and sometimes it reminds me of Gaultier’s Kokorico… The only downside is it only comes in 50ml.

  • Exotic and powerful, with a masculine and sophisticated vibe. The oud is very intense, so if you’re not a fan, stay away. Otherwise, it evolves beautifully and dries down nicely. It’s an Eau de Parfum that delivers: eternal longevity, beastly projection with just three sprays. Perfect for special occasions, though the dry-down is so lovely you’ll end up wanting to wear it all the time.

  • The first thing that catches the eye is the huge bottle, even though it only has 50ml. The packaging is nice. It smells very exotic, spicy, with lots of rose, woods, incense, and sandalwood; a true oriental, as someone said it makes you “smell like a Moor.” I also detect leather and flowers. The agarwood gives a very comfortable and masculine base. When you put it on, it’s like a turban and babouches grow on you, but in a good way. Most people I met said “you smell great,” because it smells distinguished, virile, and sophisticated, almost like money. It reminds me of Chanel’s Egoiste, perhaps because of the rose. The price is very good for what it offers. It lasts all day and projects a lot; if you overapply, it can give you a headache. In short, I’m thrilled. Note: 9.5/10.

  • It smells good, but it’s a very long-lasting and heavy fragrance for old men. It doesn’t remind me of any other perfume.

  • Oh my god! What perfume smells like the olive stall at Syd Abi Talib’s market? My son, that aroma you think is just olives comes from an essence brought by Syd Al Hashimi from a faraway land beyond Samarkand. There’s a tree called Daun Gaharu in the Agar forests that grows slowly; only a few are touched by the Djinn of those woods. Gradually, a fever consumes them until the protective Ifrit, hearing their cries, causes a healing sweat that calms them. Those resinous drops are collected over centuries in sacred vessels and given only to those who respect these trees. RASASI FAQAT LIL RIJAL takes me back to my beloved Qurtuba from a thousand years ago. It smells of olive oud: spiced black olives with saffron, turmeric, and pepper, inside casks of sandalwood and oud. The opening transports you to the labyrinth of the medina, mixing spice stalls with leather pouches and incense burners. The persistence penetrates my mind, reviving my childhood and lost loved ones from a thousand lifetimes. Before it fades and returns to this prosaic era, I reapply because I don’t want to go back. Never again.

There is a tree called Daun Gaharu in the Agar forests that grows very slowly. Only some are touched by a Djinn that causes them a persistent fever until the protective Ifrit makes them sweat a curative resin after years of collecting it. RASASI FAQAT LIL RIJAL takes me back to my beloved Qurtuba from a thousand years ago. It smells of olive oud: spiced black olives with saffron, turmeric, and pepper, inside casks of sandalwood and oud. The opening takes you to the labyrinth of the medina, mixing street spices with leather and sandalwood and patchouli incense burners. This persistence penetrates my mind and revives my childhood and loved ones lost a thousand lifetimes ago. Before it fades, I spray it again because I don’t want to return to this prosaic era. I never want to return.

  • I have 1ml of natural Cambodian oud, and this perfume is very close to it, without that nauseating shit smell, but keeping its animal and exotic rawness on a woody base with a beautiful floral heart. Highly recommended for oud lovers. The opening is punchy: very spicy oud with a beautiful rose. The rose is executed with mastery; it’s not the main note but is very noticeable, creating a perfect counterpoint to the woods. It smells like olive oil liquid after extracting the oil, with a hint of rose and lots of spices. Then the flower fades to give way to a divine elixir of oud, leather, and patchouli: creamy, balsamic, elegant, and refined, with a lot of masculinity. Performance is outstanding; it lasts over 10 hours on the skin with good projection. Pity it only comes in 50ml, but with few sprays it lasts much longer than usual. It’s a perfume of a nocturnal soul for cold or temperate climates, usable during the day with fresh weather, but with heat or if you overapply, it can overwhelm. If you like oud and the unconventional, it’s for you; if you’re more reserved, test it before buying.

  • I have 1ml of natural Cambodian oud, and this perfume is very close to it, without that fecal trait that’s disgusting, but keeping its raw animal and exotic character over a woody base with a floral heart, very beautiful. Highly recommended for note lovers. The opening is punchy: spiced oud with a precious rose vein. The rose is executed with mastery; it’s not the main note but very noticeable, creating the perfect counterpoint to the intense woods. It reminds me of the smell of olive pits after extracting the liquid gold, with that same essence, a hint of rose and lots of spices. Then the flower fades in intensity but doesn’t disappear, giving way to a divine elixir of oud, leather, and patchouli: creamy, balsamic, elegant, and refined, with masculinity that leaves no one indifferent. The performance is outstanding, lasting over 10 hours with notable projection. Pity it only comes in 50ml, but with few sprays it outperforms the average, so it lasts a long time. It’s a night-soul perfume for cold and temperate climates, though usable during the day with fresh weather; with heat or over-application, it could be overwhelming. If you like oud and the unconventional, it’s for you; if you’re more reserved, test it before buying.

I neither love nor hate it. It starts strong with smoky oud, accented by saffron; then it regains freshness with geranium and sweetens with jasmine. At the end, patchouli is noticeable. It’s a woody oriental, a bit artificial, penetrating, and dark, but with excellent longevity. The price-to-quality ratio is great. It’s totally masculine, ideal for autumn, winter, and night. Longevity is very long-lasting and the sillage is heavy.

  • This is good! But beware, not for everyone… definitely not a blind buy. Although, I suppose, if you like oud, you’ll like it. It’s a strong scent with a lot of personality. Among most Arab perfumes I’ve tried, this stands out for that personality. However, it’s one of those you shouldn’t buy blind unless you already have significant experience in this world of scents.

This is good! But be careful, it’s not for everyone. Don’t buy it blindly. If you like oud, you’ll definitely like it. It’s a strong, personality-packed scent. Among the Arab perfumes I’ve tried, it stands out for its character. Now, I only recommend it if you already have a lot of experience in this world of fragrances.

  • Handcrafted oriental fragrance. An incredibly strong opening with semi-dirty oud, rose, spices, and more. Nothing like Dhanal on horseback with honey (which I also love, I just don’t see how to wear it out). I don’t know when the oud stops dominating to let the jasmine and geranium shine in a very seductive and addictive way; I can’t stop smelling my wrist. Not for everyone, only for addicts to oud and truly oriental fragrances.

  • It’s a handmade oriental with a brutal opening: semi-dirty oud, rose, and spices. Nothing like the stable-and-honey Dhanal (which I also like, but only for home use). I don’t know when the oud stops dominating to let us enjoy the seductive jasmine and geranium; I have to constantly smell my wrist. It’s not for everyone, only for true oud and authentic oriental fragrance addicts.

  • I had this on my favorites list for two years until I got tired of all the oud varieties. I bought mine last week because of the cold, and it blew me away: it doesn’t smell like oud and rose as I expected, but rather like Houbigant’s Fougere Royal. It’s less green and dark, featuring bergamot, rose, and geranium. After the first hour, the oud and rose take over, passing through a gasoline-like scent similar to Gucci Absolute, yet there’s still something fresh and floral lingering in the background, perhaps cardamom or jasmine. It’s like a cross between Oud Ispahan, Fougere Royal, and Gucci Guilty Absolute. If you’re a collector, don’t even think about it due to the price; if you’re young and just starting out, go for an Invictus or One Million instead.

  • At first, it smells like a mix of Daarej and Oudh Al Boruzz Asrar Indonesia, but as it dries down, it leans more toward the latter, though with a lighter, less heavy oud.
