No one can explain how the brand thinks this is for women. It smells like pure man; I can’t imagine it on any girl.

It’s almost identical to Yara Asad, but this lasts much longer with better fixation and projection. It’s a brutal alternative to Dior Sauvage Elixir. Ideal for special occasions or formal outings. It’s very attractive and elegant; a refined man with confidence would wear this.

I don’t know where the brand gets the idea that this is for women. The scent is totally masculine; I can’t imagine a woman wearing this aroma.

What can you say about this clone of Sauvage Elixir? I own it and keep it in reserve in case the price goes up. If you need to shine in a formal situation and can’t fail, go with Dior. If you just want to meet expectations with elegant sobriety, use Just and save money. No one will notice the difference. The Dior is simply a step above in quality and performance.

Maybe you’re looking for this because of its resemblance to Asad. I own both, here’s the comparison: the scent is very similar but with a substantial difference. Asad declares black pepper and tobacco; Just Aswad highlights nutmeg, making it more earthy. A slight freshness in Asad comes from smoked pineapple that balances the notes, something that doesn’t happen in Aswad where the grapefruit gets overshadowed by the nutmeg. Performance is on par: 6-7 hours longevity with 2 hours of sillage. It’s not BEAST MODE in projection, but it’s noticeable. Both are excellent for that olfactory DNA. Personally, I find Asad more wearable and sophisticated due to its dense tobacco, while Aswad feels more regal. I’ve found Aswad cheaper, but the difference isn’t much. The decision depends on which notes and style you prefer.

  • The best Elixir Dior inspiration by far. I own versions from Lattafa, Atralia, Khadlaj, Al Haramain, and both Zimaya, and none come close like this one. It differs from Asad because the latter leans more vanilla, similar to Khadlaj’s Gaith. Atralia’s Amazonas Drift is fresher but doesn’t last as long, and Azlan Oud Blue is the second closest option but costs triple.

If you like Sauvage Elixir and say this isn’t the same, you’re lying: technically they share the same olfactory pyramid and experience, differing only in quality. I love it because for $20-25 you get something elegant that lasts until the next day and makes you feel imposing with that embrace of nutmeg, orange, and lavender. It’s 85-90% similar to Sauvage, unlike Asad which is a different world (75-80% similarity). This one is fruitier and less synthetic. If you like the Elixir and don’t want to empty the bottle, it’s a great option for mixing. Of course, everyone has different pH.

  • Awesome! It’s a serious fragrance suitable for daily wear if you don’t overapply, very pleasant with a rare dark touch that some might not like. It’s a bold fern scent where nutmeg and lavender are always present; if you sniff deep at first, it smells like a barbershop. As it dries down, it becomes sweet, earthy, dark, and ambered. If you like ferns and have some age, this is a winner. P.S.: what I love most is the licorice base, very natural, without that caramelized touch others usually have.

A serious and dark fragrance that I absolutely love. It’s identical to Lattafa’s Asad but heavier. Ideal for formal situations and commanding respect, not for surprising girls. Recommended for men 30 and up. I won’t compare it to Sauvage Elixir since I haven’t tried it, but for the spectacular price, it doesn’t feel low quality; it could pass as designer. The Just Fragrance World line has surprised me by delivering on the 3 Bs. I paid $13 in Chile, a steal. The bottle is 10/10, secure cap, and good atomizer. Lasts 6 hours with moderation and 8 with generosity. Best for cold weather.

  • Awesome! It’s a serious fragrance, perfect for daily wear as long as you don’t overapply. It’s very pleasant with a dark touch (it’s rare someone doesn’t like it). It’s a bold fern scent; nutmeg and lavender are present all the time. Up close, it has a barbershop vibe at first. As it dries down, it becomes sweeter, earthier, darker, and more amber-like. If you like ferns and you’re mature, this is a winner. P.S.: I forgot to mention my favorite part—the licorice. It has a very natural licorice base (others tend to taste more like candy); this one is truly natural licorice, right?

It’s a serious and totally dark fragrance. Personally, I love it. It’s identical to Lattafa’s Asad, except this one is heavier. Best for totally formal situations. Age range: 30 and up, because you’re not trying to impress women, but command respect in a group: work, formal meetings, etc. I haven’t tested Sauvage Elixir to compare them side-by-side. Given the spectacular price, the quality doesn’t feel cheap. It would pass as a designer perfume. The Just line from Fragrance World has pleasantly surprised me; they deliver on the 3 Bs. I paid $13 in Chile, an absolute steal. Bottle design: 10/10, the cap stays on tight. Good spray mechanism. Longevity: 6 hours with moderate application, 8 hours if you apply generously. Best for cold climates.

Although some mistake it for old lady or Turkish man scent, it actually pairs perfectly with cigarettes. Watch out: a little goes a long way.
