The Godfather is very wearable and easy to like (quite the opposite of what I expected from the name), with decent longevity of 8-10 hours and good projection without being a beast mode. It’s very original; I can’t remember anything similar. In a short time, I’ve received many positive comments from my close circle. I see it for casual or semi-formal occasions; spring and autumn seem to be the best seasons. Based on the name, I imagined something like Xerjoff’s Don or with much more complex, challenging, and masculine notes. From the first time I smelled it, I knew I’d eventually add it to my collection; it’s quickly become one of my favorites and I enjoy it immensely. If you’re looking for compliments, this one will definitely deliver.

When I tried Il Padrino, I found something intense, elegant, and designed to stand out. What I notice most is a creamy, addictive licorish amaretto, accompanied by a resinous vanilla with an amber base that adds sensuality and warmth. It’s like an elegant dessert with liquor, transformed into fragrance. On my skin, it lasts between 6 and 8 hours, with strong projection for the first 2 or 3 hours; afterwards it fades, but it still leaves a dense and attractive trail. Ideal for cold nights, elegant dinners, or special events. It’s not versatile enough for daily wear, but at the right occasion, it commands attention and draws compliments. What I like most is its licorish, enveloping personality and the exclusive feel it gives. The downside is that you shouldn’t buy it blindly: it can be overwhelming if you don’t enjoy sweet, amber, or characterful alcoholic scents. Il Padrino is one of my best discoveries of the year: powerful, sophisticated, and full of presence. Just use it at the right moment to let it truly shine.

  • I simply love it and it’s addictive. It has excellent performance, though maybe moderate but consistent projection. The scent is alcoholic, sweet with light woody touches that sometimes make it feel musky. For me, it’s a 10/10.

  • I absolutely love it and it’s addictive. Great performance overall; projection is moderate but very consistent. The scent is alcoholic, sweet with light woody notes that sometimes give it a musky vibe. For me, it’s a 10/10.

  • No beating around the bush: it smells charming and refined, very sweet, almost like cough syrup when you press your nose to the wrist. The magic happens in the air: incredible musky sweetness with a noticeable fruity touch. It gets tons of compliments, lasts a long time, and has high projection for the first few hours. Wear it as a winter or fall signature scent if you live in a cold climate; if the vibe matches your personality, you’ll feel like royalty on special occasions. Easy 10/10.

  • No nonsense: smells charming and refined, very sweet, almost like cough syrup when you press your nose to the wrist. The magic is in the air: it projects an incredible musky sweetness with a notable fruity touch. It gets lots of compliments, lasts a long time, and has high projection for the first few hours. Wear it as a signature scent in winter or autumn if you live in a cold area; if the aroma suits your character, you’ll feel like royalty at special moments. Easy 10/10.

  • At first glance, I like it; nothing like what I expected from the notes. I was thinking of Van Phy Rhum, perhaps less twisted toward the vanilla side and more toward the alcoholic. I sprayed just once to test it: on my skin, it’s totally tropical, as if combining the passion fruit part of Oud Maracuya with the plum aspect of Pargons by Initio. I wouldn’t buy it expecting a dark or difficult-to-wear scent, but rather a fruity, easy-to-please perfume that doesn’t say too much or have that typical niche challenging edge.
