  Seems like I’m the first to review this perfume, let’s go. It’s an unknown niche, very masculine, with top, heart, and base notes that are almost identical: leather, smoky, lots of wood, and that strong, dark, elegant touch of oud and musk. I like it, but I admit it’s not for everyone; the website sells samples at a good price, so better test before buying the bottle. The opening hits hard from the first moment—even if you apply it to your hand, the scent reaches you instantly. It’s strong and noticeable in the first few minutes, creating a bubble at medium distance. You can already feel that strong masculine vibe with a subtle cardamomo that fades quickly, so the perfume barely changes over time. It stays special, masculine, elegant, and dark thanks to the smoke and heavy leather. I sense a slight powdery note in the dry down, but it’s very light. It has great longevity; on my skin, it’s noticeable after an hour leaving a good trail, and after 2.5 hours the projection drops a bit and it’s not as piercing, though you still catch whiffs hours later, more intimate and close to the skin. On clothes, it lasts days. Be careful when applying it; it has great longevity and projection, radiating a lot, so it might bother people around you in those first hours, but on clothes it lasts days and performs amazingly. I think it’s worth it, although for the price there are similar and cheaper options; in the end, this is for personal enjoyment. P.S.: My girlfriend hates this perfume. In summary: a very masculine niche, elegant, leather, smoky, and woody, I find it slightly powdery in the dry down. Not for everyone, test before buying. Very expensive, there are better options. Great longevity on skin and even more on clothes. Perfect for cold weather, otherwise you might overwhelm people.

It lasts a long time: on skin, it’s strong for the first hour with a good trail, and at 2.5 hours the projection drops, but you still smell it up close for hours after. On clothes, it lasts days, but be careful with the amount because it can be overwhelming at first. It’s worth it, although there are similar and cheaper options; in the end, it’s for personal enjoyment. P.S.: My girlfriend finds it disgusting.   Bjorn Parfume is one of the best in smoky perfumes; their two fragrances have that special touch. In Holy Smoke, there’s leather, saffron, and oud… yes, it’s saffron-leather. If you don’t like oud, try it anyway: it’s not animalic or fecal, but elegant, and mixed with the saffron-leather and smoke, it’s an olfactory masterpiece. If you’re a newbie, the scent might knock you back because it’s powerful and intense if you’re not used to it. The performance is the best in my collection: it lasts literally 24 hours, and the projection is incredible—4 sprays (being very generous) is enough for my entire life here in Spain. It’s one of the best saffron-leather ouds I know, with that mysterious smoke that makes it brilliant, but not for everyone. Performance: 10/10. Artistic: 7/10. Versatility: 3/10. Final score: 8.5/10.

Mixed with the leather and smoke, it’s an olfactory masterpiece. It’s true that if you’re a newbie, the scent might knock you back because it’s powerful and intense if you’re not used to it. In terms of performance, it’s the best in my collection: it lasts literally 24 hours without joking around, and the projection is brutal. I wouldn’t wear more than 4 sprays (being generous) in my entire life here in Spain. In short, one of the best saffron-leather ouds I know, with that smoky nuance I can’t quite pinpoint from the notes, making it brilliant, but not for everyone. Performance: 10/10. Artistic: 7/10. Versatility: 3/10. Final score: 8.5/10.
