It’s my only H&M perfume and the sole Olivier Pescheux creation that convinced me after trying the entire range in-store. While there were other options, none felt as original to me. By the way, Makassar Patchouli is an intense patchouli monolith, perfect alone or for mixing. On the other hand, La Raconteuse is floral through and through, not for people sensitive to those notes. At first, it smells of natural bitter orange and neroli, then sweetens with ylang-ylang and vanilla. The trail is moderate and lasts about 6 hours on my skin. I grabbed it at a 60% discount since it was being discontinued, so it’s a great find for spring, and I’m curious to try more from the brand. Scent 7.5, longevity 7, sillage 7, value 8, versatility 7, packaging 6.5. Yes, I’d buy it again.

H&M never disappoints. Despite being budget fragrances, none smell flat or one-dimensional. I’m absolutely captivated by this one; it’s perfect for spring, right in that transition from cold to warm weather. The scent is classic, timeless, and fantastic.
