At first, I’m a bit confused by the green bell pepper note; it has that astringent, fresh vibe that almost smells like cucumber. The violet leaves blend beautifully with a soft lemon and champagne base that doesn’t detract from those initial notes. It feels like a delicate cologne in terms of performance and projection. Once the pepper fades, without overshadowing the iris, a bright mimosa emerges with green cypress and a powdery iris that doesn’t dominate. In the dry down, tonka bean and soft woods join vetiver and iris for a nice finish, but it’s a shame because it doesn’t last long and has almost no sillage.
