Freedom Musk Santal | 34 Eau de Parfum by Kayali Fragrances is a creation from the floral musk woody family, designed for men and women. This new fragrance, launched in 2025, was conceived by perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani. Its olfactive pyramid unfolds with a vibrant top of mandarin, bergamot, and pink pepper; a floral and aromatic heart composed of freesia, lily of the valley, and lavender; and a warm, enveloping base of musk, sandalwood, amber, and vetiver.

It smells good but is excessively soft. I tried it two days ago, and it had so little impact that I can’t even remember what it smelled like. It’s just sweet, nothing more.
Of the four new ones, this is the most famous, and its citrus opening really catches attention—you can smell the orange a lot. Floral notes appear quickly. It’s greener, fresher, and more musky than I usually wear. While it’s elegant and easy to wear, it’s not my style. On my skin, it dries down to smell like baby wipes. It’s clean, fresh, and soft, but nothing surprising. Honestly, it’s exactly what I imagined when I heard the word ‘musk,’ so it wasn’t distinct or memorable for me. It’s not bad, just not for me.
Tested on skin, and after 3 hours it still smells, though it doesn’t project. At first, you can detect the sandalwood, but as it dries down, it becomes a musk with a touch of Vanilla 28. The musk is similar to Valaya but feels less high-quality. It’s perfect for cold weather.
It smells like sweet whipped cream. Delicious and feminine, but it already exists. The scent stays the same the whole time, the trail doesn’t radiate, and I barely notice it myself. Same old story: it doesn’t justify the price. Similar to Candy Rock Sugar and Khair Conf, which smell better and last longer.
At first, it smells citrusy and sparkling, but once it dries down, it becomes a rich, creamy vanilla-musk scent, though I’ve smelled something similar before. I don’t really detect sandalwood on my skin. I was hoping for something like The Wedding Silk Santal, but I’m keeping this one a thousand times over.
I really like it; it’s pleasant. It smells musky, sweet, and citrusy with that signature Kayali touch. The opening is citrusy, but on the skin, it dries down to something creamy. Perfect for everyday wear and the office. However, it doesn’t project much—it’s a skin scent—and the longevity is average, maxing out at about four hours, which is a bit frustrating.
I love it; it’s totally my style. The sandalwood is gorgeous. Even though I usually hate lavender, it works amazingly well here. This is my favorite Kayali so far—it even beats Yum Marshmallow.
