Nothing like Alexandria II; it’s a completely different world. On my skin, the sandalwood and guaiac wood explode. The opening is intense, with that sweet and spicy cardamom alongside ylang-ylang. Although it doesn’t say ‘smoky,’ it smells smoky with incense notes. It brings back childhood memories I can’t quite pinpoint. Perfect for fall and winter, day or night, for formal or semi-formal occasions. It doesn’t smell like anything I’ve tried before. I’ll keep testing it with more wear, but for now, it’s very rich and worth a try.
