You can smell the cherry with the almond, it was very much liked. It has good projection upon application. I found it very rich, it’s a fruity and sweet perfume, but not cloying. Ideal for cool climates. For people who like fruity perfumes, we know it’s very hard to find a fruity winter perfume, this one is perfect.
I bought a 30 ml bottle, without maturation the cherry feels quite intense, I’m going to let it macerate to see what shows, but it feels pleasant, cherry assured at least.
Batch: October 2024. My experience with Forbidden Love by Maison Alhambra has been totally disappointing. The bottle I received is 100% original, but the performance is nonexistent. It doesn’t smell like anything at all, it’s like spraying water. No top, no heart, no base: simply no note appears no matter how hard I try. I tried it on skin, on clothes, and at different times of the day, and the result is always the same. If this October 2024 batch is representative, something has gone seriously wrong in the formulation or quality control. A shame, because I expected much more. Keep it in mind if you plan to buy it soon, so it doesn’t happen to you like it did to me and you don’t throw 20 euros in the trash.
