Descripción
Ferrari Light Essence by Ferrari is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2007, this composition evokes the essence of performance and the brand's elegance. Its olfactory structure unfolds in three acts: the top notes feature fresh citrus and light spices that awaken the senses; the heart reveals a floral and herbaceous bouquet that adds depth and character; while the base notes, dominated by noble woods and a touch of amber, provide a warm, enveloping longevity. The creation is signed by the perfumer who brought this modern interpretation of sporty luxury to life.

Citrus, fruity, and herbal (and synthetic). I tried this by accident after reading tons of reviews. Honestly, Ferrari perfumes don’t appeal to me; the logo brings motors to mind, not pastries, and that association doesn’t sit well with me. It’s like a shoe brand selling desserts: what kind of quality can we expect? Back to the point, I’d never tried a Ferrari perfume before, but curiosity got the better of me. The first impression was interesting. I expected something generic and thin, but it wasn’t. It has flaws: it smells very synthetic and, at times, gives me nausea. It feels like I’d be tired of it by day four or five. Overall, it smells clean and fresh, noticeable from a distance (moderate projection), and reminds me of fresh laundry. Longevity isn’t bad: about four hours with good projection and two or three more on the skin. It’s for informal occasions, hot days, and outdoors, maybe sports. It’s not a bad perfume for the price, especially in Mexico where it’s super cheap. I wouldn’t wear it myself or gift it, but I don’t consider it entirely bad.
Top-tier citrus opening, but the drydown is sweet, like Tutti Frutti gum. It’s sporty, perfect for hot summers; girls love it. Better than many more prestigious and expensive perfumes, with great sillage and over 8 hours of longevity. Great for casual daytime wear. Excellent quality and price in this Ferrari. 100% recommended.
I snagged it yesterday at a ridiculous price, 1,500 Argentine pesos. Wow, it smells just like Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue. Perfect for summer.
Love it or hate it, there’s definitely a catalog clone out there. Smells very synthetic, not for everyone, and can give you a headache. Longevity is average, even on clothes. Not worth it unless you’re gifting it or a high schooler is wearing it.
