Ferragamo Spicy Leather is spicy, leathery, and woody. The citrus opening is fleeting, lasting about 5 minutes, but from the start, you can tell how spicy and leathery it is. Over time, the scent becomes more spicy and leathery, with cinnamon, saffron, and nutmeg notes. It doesn’t change much in its development: it’s dry, woody, pleasant, and elegant. It’s perfect for cooler months, autumn and winter, special occasions, or work, because even though it’s spicy, it’s not invasive. Longevity was good; it lasted longer than others in the line, almost 12 hours, but the sillage is short: the first hour is noticeable, then it drops close to the skin. After trying the entire Ferragamo Leather line, I think this is the one I liked the most, the most mature and elegant, though not the most versatile. I don’t recommend buying it blind, unless you like fragrances in the style of Bvlgari Man in Black or The One for Men.
Stylish powerhouse, well-made, fresh spicy leather that’s modern and nocturnal. It doesn’t smell like the typical stuff you’ve heard a thousand times in pure leather fragrances, nor the designer leather lightweights. Watch out, it’s that Italian wet leather from the entire Ferragamo Leather line. It’s versatile and delicious. A mature, elegant aroma, no niche obscurities or gimmicks. Although it’s not a longevity bomb, it’ll accompany you for 6-7 hours without issues. It has a ‘sigma male’ vibe, a bit of a rogue, charismatic, and one who’s seen it all. It asks for the night and carries treachery. Works great with a cool ambient breeze. Store it in the box if it’s over 30°C for up to 5 months. One of the best in the Ferragamo Leather saga. Worth it for the scent and quality, plus it’s a leather scent that isn’t overdone.
To be honest, this fragrance exceeded my expectations. I’m not a huge fan of YouTubers, but Spicy Leather is a discovery worth buying. As the name suggests, it’s spices and leather: a beautiful leather with a spicy kick from the start. The opening, with saffron, citrus, and a bit of vanilla, is vintage and elegant. It’s a classic, masculine cut. Over time, the leather takes over and the spices play off each other, ending in a very subtle sweetness—no exaggerated vanilla, just something serene that adds class. I loved it so much I’m recommending it. It lasts long, projects well without being invasive. It’s masculine, mature, perfect for cold weather, elegant, and versatile. No surprises; they made a 10/10 scent, including the price.
From the initial spark of bergamot and lemon, with that saffron giving it an exotic, sticky touch, things get interesting: fresh but with fire. The heart keeps the tension going with black pepper and nutmeg, mixed with sage and cedar. Then comes the drydown, powerful and full of character: dark, animalic leather wrapped in creamy sandalwood, tobacco, and patchouli. It’s for people who don’t look to please, but to claim territory. Ideal for intense, free spirits. If it were music, it’d be that Verdi prelude, tense but noble; if it were jazz, Paolo Fresu’s trumpet with Omar Sosa. In color, toasted leather with smoke and a life of its own.
