  • It smells like whiskey and makes me sick, an alcoholic mix with bitter orange. It’s not for young people or the modern adult type, it’s a disaster! I gave it to an uncle and he doesn’t even use it.

  • Smells like whiskey (I don’t want to be subjective, but I hate whiskey :s)… It has an alcoholic note mixed with orange blossom flowers… not for young people, not for modern adults, not for gentlemen, this is disgusting!… in the end, they gave it to an uncle and I think he doesn’t even use it, haha :p

  • Façonnable is a fragrance that seems correctly classified as a woody floral musk. Its opening is strongly floral, though dominated mainly by jasmine, more so than geranium and rose. The orange blossom and mandarin are barely distinguishable, not so the mint. The truth is, the first 30 minutes are dizzying and a bit heavy, but afterwards it softens and becomes a fresh and pleasant fragrance, with a greater presence of sandalwood and a jasmine that is always persistent. I felt it was unisex style, as there are no notes that stand out and give it a too masculine nature; in reality, it smells very much of jasmine, sandalwood, and orange blossom. It captures the style that lasted long in the 90s, and I can’t find a similarity with any other fragrance. Duration around 6 hours. As additional data, the bottle is very beautiful and elegant, protected by an aluminum tin.

At first, I perceived soft orange blossom, mandarin, some geranium, and mint. Then the jasmine expressed itself more strongly, and finally, 12 hours later, clinging to the skin, musk with jasmine. I didn’t perceive the amber well. This fragrance felt a bit strange to me; I don’t know why, but clearly it’s not my favorite woody floral musk. The trail was moderate and ended up weak close to the skin. Maybe it works better in spring or autumn (intermediate seasons) given the floral load and for daytime use. The duration was about 12 hours, but very light.

At first, soft orange blossom, tangerine, a touch of geranium and mint. Then the jasmine brightens, and finally, after 12 hours, it clings to the skin with a musk and jasmine dry down. I didn’t really pick up on the amber. It felt odd to me, I don’t know why; clearly, it’s not my favorite woody floral musk. The trail was moderate and ended up very soft, right up against the skin. Maybe it suits spring or autumn better, given that floral charge, and is best for daytime wear. It lasted about 12 hours, but very lightly.

  • Beautiful presentation with a brass box and a bottle shaped like an old canteen, like a product from the early 20th century, similar to the Tom Ford luxury line like Black Orchid. It has a unique opening, wow, fresh, sparkling, and clean. Fresh, musky, floral, exquisite mandarin. Elegant, not invasive or leaving a toxic trail, but it speaks of someone confident who uses fragrance with style and quality, without needing extras to make a presence. It looks more suited for semi-formal wear than to steal girls’ glances while passing by smelling that fresh and clean aroma. I didn’t trust it based on reviews, but I realized they were just different experiences. It’s a product that isn’t cheap but also not outrageously priced, similar to YSL. Considering that every pH is different and some perfumes stick more than others, or sometimes saturate the space so you don’t feel it because your olfactory senses collapse, which happens very often. Note: packaging originality 9, fragrance 8, longevity 7, quality 9.

  • Beautiful presentation with a brass box and a bottle like an old canteen, Tom Ford Black Orchid style. Unique opening, fresh and sparkling, clean aroma, musky and floral with mandarin. Elegant, not invasive, and without leaving a toxic trace, but it does mark presence in the wearer. For semi-formal wear and stealing glances. I didn’t trust it based on reviews, but I understood that every skin is different and the olfactory senses get saturated. Price similar to YSL. Packaging: 9, Scent: 8, Longevity: 7, Quality: 9.

  • Façonnable is a hidden treasure from the 90s, out of production for years and now back. The presentation is gorgeous and old-school: a tin box with a glass bottle and a cork tied with a little string. The spray is excellent: allows for short sprays or a long brushstroke if you press hard. And what’s inside? A quintessential perfume of the era: fresh fern, ultra-clean, almost abstract, synthetic, very much in the line of CK Eternity, Paco Rabanne XS, Wings, or Himalaya by Creed. It has that blurry tone, not recalling anything concrete, but aiming for a radiant sensation. The opening is a comforting candied orange peel with mint (delicious). Within minutes, geranium, jasmine, and a cleaner musk than the soul of Gandhi join in. From here on, Façonnable becomes a rocky, crystalline, and sweet aroma, pleasant for oneself and others, but with personality (I feel like a king every time I wear it). Although its trail is moderate, the performance is very good and it lasts long (thanks to the Bogart house). It’s versatile, sophisticated yet relaxed, with charm for night or special occasions. In short, it’s a must-have in the revolver of lovers of ultra-clean 90s scents.

What a find! I tried this fragrance today that I only used to wear in summer, but decided to give it a shot in winter; the big surprise was that it actually fixes better, highlighting the floral, sandalwood, and jasmine. In summer, it’s the freshness, mint, and mandarin that stand out, but with sweat, it tends to last less. It’s all about this pH balance, so it’s timeless, and now it’s almost discontinued—I regret not buying another bottle. Someone gifted me another one, and I rediscovered it; I wore it at the end of winter, and with the cold, its opening is very particular and elegant, a real pleasure to use. It doesn’t saturate others, but they still notice it, so there’s no need to spray everywhere and annoy everyone. Here, the refined classic touches mark its own seal, pure French elegance.

  • I didn’t know the fragrance until I visited a collector uncle; his tin looks like vintage cookies. At first, I didn’t like it at all, but after three hours at home its essence changed, becoming fresh, soft, and elegant. Ideal for men aged 30 to 50 with semi-formal clothes in the heat. I would buy it because it’s not aggressive and doesn’t overwhelm at work.

  • I didn’t know about this fragrance until I visited a cousin (who is also a perfume collector). I was drawn to its can, which looks like vintage food or cookie packaging. When I sprayed it several times on my skin and clothes, it didn’t give me any positive sensation at first. But over the next three to three-and-a-half hours we spent at home, the scent changed quickly and I grew to like it more and more: fresh but very soft, plus elegant, something like it for a man aged 30 to 50 in semiformal attire in warm environments. Would I buy it? Yes, for its non-aggressive aroma, and I think it would work well for office meetings without overwhelming those around you.

  • At first, it smells strongly of mint and citrus, but after half an hour, it turns into a clean, soapy scent. The presentation is good, the aroma isn’t so much, but for the price, it’s worth having in the collection.

  • After owning it for a while, I didn’t like it at all. It’s a strange hybrid of Cool Water and dryer sheets. Lasts about 4-5 hours with medium sillage. At $15 USD (100ml), I even feel it’s cheaper than it is; I ended up keeping the can, and even that serves as a desk pen lol. Still, you can buy it blind, but only if you pay what I did: I used almost half the bottle as a room freshener xD.

  • After wearing it for a while, I didn’t like it at all. It’s a weird hybrid of Cool Water that I hate, smelling like dryer sheets. Lasts about 4-5 hours with a moderate trail. Still, you can buy it blind, but only if you pay like I did—I used almost half of it as a room freshener xD

  • A fairly fresh and astringent menthol scent, almost like a Vick VapoRub cleanliness that I absolutely love. Plus, it’s handled by the Bogart house, which gives it excellent backing.

Smells very similar to Seven Machos, a well-known pharmacy perfume from Mexico by the house Urania. That scent has a curious place in Mexican cultural imagination: everyone mentions it and mocks the ‘smell of Seven Machos’ to refer to something ‘potent but unpleasant.’ In a country full of machismo, that name makes many think the scent is ‘common and cheap’; plus, since it’s been used in Santería, cleansings, and witchcraft, people believe it smells esoteric, like bundles of incense. But few actually know what it truly smells like: white flowers, talcum-dried, clean, floral, completely unisex. This Faconnable has that talcum-dried, clean, floral, relaxing, and soft vibe. With a semi-sweet citrus base that’s a bit effervescent, similar to Yuzu but with grapefruit. Highly recommended for men over 30 who appreciate simple yet beautiful, clean, and inoffensive fragrances. It’s charming, has a good price, and offers solid performance: Good, Beautiful, Cheap.

  • I loved its citrus and white floral aroma—nothing sweet. Longevity is 5-6 hours. It’s like the classic Carlo Corinto, not that they’re similar, but I love that one too. I get lots of compliments. Sillage is low, but for the price, it’s amazing. Perfect for spring, summer, and early fall. It’s been great for me.

  • Simple but rich perfume: mint, flowers, and a sweet base. Ideal for hot days, totally unisex. I wouldn’t buy it again due to poor duration and projection, plus it smells like Vicks VapoRub.

  • It’s a simple yet rich perfume: mint, flowers, and a sweet base. It’s perfect for hot days. Totally unisex. Will I buy it again? No, due to poor longevity and projection. Plus, it reminds me of Vicks VapoRub products, lol.

  • I haven’t smelled it in fifteen years, but I remember it as if it were yesterday. It’s the classic perfume story of a first love: the first day of college, walking into the lounge, I was hit by that scent at the door and thought, ‘Who smells like that?’ So good, so confident, so attractive and clean. It was all of that! I know exactly how long it lasts; even though I didn’t wear it myself, it lingered on my clothes and hair—I loved it. It reminds me of Montblanc men’s fragrances but with a more unisex touch.

  • Smells like clean soap and talcum powder with a lovely floral touch, though it doesn’t last long and has a soft sillage. Those who enjoy freshly cut mint will absolutely adore it; it reminds me a bit of Paco Rabanne XS (one of my favorites), so for me, it’s exquisite. Its only flaw is the longevity and projection. Cheers! 💙

  • Faconnable by Façonnable… Soapy, clean talcum, and floral aroma that you enjoy for a short time due to its low duration and soft trail. Very pleasant if you like freshly cut fresh mint, it has something of Paco Rabanne XS, one of my favorites. Its weakness is the duration and projection. Cheers.
