I love catalog perfumes; I’m always on the hunt for hidden gems and give them a chance because nowadays, many people think they’re expert perfumers, haha. To be honest: it’s very versatile, perfect for all climates except very cold winters, where the sharp lime might be annoying. At first, that lime is super acidic and piercing, but it fades quickly. The star is the clove, pure and unadulterated, giving it a warm, intensely spicy vibe. It’s quite masculine, and if you’re under 20, it could be overpowering. The clove lasts about three to four hours, then softens and gives way to vanilla. Even if I don’t say it, it smells of musk and amber, which add stability. It’s a rich fragrance—not for everyone, but perfect for smelling good and commanding presence without trying too hard.
Hey, watch out for the term ‘perfumist’—that’s for people who create fragrances, not for those who just smell them. And stay away from Jafra; the ingredients and blends are a disaster. For a similar or lower price, you can get European or American gems like Halston Z14, Ted Lapidus, Jacques Bogart, Oscar de la Renta, Calvin Klein, or even Versace and Moschino. If you want to spend less, Axe sprays are a thousand times better than anything Jafra offers. Don’t even talk about the decent lines from Avon, L’Bel, or Natura.
