Espada Guarani: A New Woody Spicy Masculine by Stella Dustin

Stella Dustin introduces Espada Guarani, a masculine fragrance slated for 2026. The name evokes a blade and the Guarani heritage, hinting at a scent that is both assertive and grounded.

This new release opens with mineral and saline notes, transitions through a spicy herbal heart, and settles into a woody base. Early adopters have rated it 4.24 out of 5, a strong start for a newcomer.

Espada Guarani belongs to the woody spicy olfactory family, but it avoids the heavy, dark clichés of the genre. The top notes combine violet leaves, mineral notes, and salt, producing a crisp, almost metallic opening with an aquatic twist. It feels like cool stone touched by sea spray.

The heart features ginger and sage. Ginger contributes a warm, tingling spiciness, while sage adds an aromatic, herbaceous layer. Together they soften the mineral edge and bring a pleasant complexity that bridges the fresh start and the deeper base.

The base rests on woody notes and vetiver. Vetiver delivers its signature earthy, slightly smoky root character, while the woods provide a smooth, dry backbone. This composition wears close to the skin but leaves a subtle trail, making it suitable for both professional and casual settings.

The primary accords are aromatic, ozonic, mineral, and woody, with secondary touches of aquatic, herbal, fresh spicy, soft spicy, green, and fresh. This versatility is one of its main strengths, allowing it to transition from a daytime office scent to an evening walk without feeling out of place.

With 21 ratings and two written reviews so far, feedback highlights the fragrance's evolution and its balanced use of unconventional mineral notes. Wearers appreciate that it never becomes cloying and maintains a coherent story from top to bottom.

Espada Guarani will appeal to men who enjoy woody and spicy fragrances but prefer a modern, mineral freshness over sweetness. It is a great choice for those who want a distinctive yet effortless everyday scent, particularly in mild or warm climates.

Espada Guarani is a compelling new entry from Stella Dustin, successfully merging a fresh mineral top with a classic woody base. It offers originality without alienating those who prefer traditional masculinity, earning a solid recommendation.

  1. Very good BIR dupe. When I test them side by side I’ll update, but at first impression it’s the same. Even if it just matches the other one’s short longevity, it’s totally worth it since its price is very low. It’s a proven DNA, people like it, and in my opinion it’s super versatile. Really good!!

  2. Very good fragrance for what it costs here in Paraguay, a known DNA and mass-appealing, reliable, BIR type. Versatile for transitional seasons and with more than acceptable longevity.
