  • It’s the complete opposite of what you’d expect from Lady Gaga: not eccentric, but sober, relaxing, and conventional. Citrus notes of bergamot with very soft leather, violet (more noticeable to my nose), and a soft woody base. It’s like mixing Bvlgari Eau Parfumee au The Vert with He Wood by Dsquared2: a relaxing tea-like aroma, slightly powdery and undefined, with soft leather and violet. Well-blended and pleasant, though these aren’t my favorite notes. Good longevity (over 7 hours) and moderate sillage, maybe slightly above average. I liked it, although I might not keep the bottle because it felt a bit plain. Still, quite decent for the price.

  • I liked it more than the Fame one. It’s not an overpowering perfume; I absolutely love the lime note, and the longevity is incredible.

  • This fragrance is super elegant and, to be honest, far more sophisticated than FAME. It has simpler notes that give it a fresh, pleasant, and unique scent, unlike the previous one which is more floral and fruity; I don’t dislike it, but it doesn’t blow me away. In conclusion, EAU DE GAGA is masculine, elegant, and strong—highly recommended. Att: A little Monster Paws up (Lady Gaga fan)

  • A simple and mediocre fragrance, the epitome of it. Pure marketing for a perfume… bland and boring.

I like Fame but not this one… I was going to buy it blind (my favorite sport) but luckily at Sears there was a tester and I sprayed it everywhere since there was no one around. At first it smelled good, the lime was delicious and unisex (more masculine), but then came the horror: very powdery and masculine, a walking talcum powder. My brother asked me if I was dating someone older and that was the whole ride home; that situation was more awkward than eating Maruchan in front of a nutritionist. I don’t usually badmouth perfumes, but I’ll stick with Fame smelling like little fruits.

I like Fame, but not this one… I was going to buy it blind (that’s my favorite extreme sport), but luckily there was a tester at Sears, so I tried it all over because there was no one around. At first, it smelled great, the lime was a deliciously unisex delight (though it smells more masculine), but then came the horror: it ended up being very powdery and masculine, a walking talcum powder. When my brother smelled me, he asked if I was dating someone older (you know how protective brothers are), and that’s how the whole ride home went; that situation was more awkward than eating Maruchan soup in front of a nutritionist. I don’t usually badmouth a perfume, but let’s just say it’s not for me, maybe others like it better, but I’m sticking with Fame smelling like little fruits.

  • I absolutely loved this perfume. A friend used a Dior cologne that drove me crazy, and he told me which one it was; this Gaga fragrance brought back that memory… I own it and use it, I love it. Although if it’s for men, I don’t feel it’s unisex… that citrusy, fresh scent is the best part.

  • Artist fragrances are usually a disaster, except for Britney, Madonna, Paris Hilton, and J.Lo, which are just mediocre; I was curious to try them because of that talc note testers mention, but Fame by Lady Gaga made things complicated: the marketing was a fiasco and they never brought the brand to Chile.

  • Very fresh, citrusy, with a touch of talc… it sounds a lot like a Dior cologne a friend of mine used, I can’t remember which one, but it smells almost identical.

I gifted it to my brother for Three Kings’ Day, and I ended up using it myself. It smells like a soft masculine but unisex fragrance, a mix of lime and violet, a bit soapy and clean.

  • Maybe I expected more due to the hype. That’s obvious. A not-so-refreshing citrus with lots of musk or powder, perhaps violet. Average performance and perceived quality.

  • Kharynbranchet

Unisex, but leans more toward the male audience. Exquisite, citrusy, and clean. A very good option for Lady Gaga, and the price is top-notch too.

Unisex but leaning more towards a male audience. Exquisite, citrusy, and clean. A great bet for Lady Gaga, and the price is also excellent.

Surprising: the olfactory fiasco that was Fame is vindicated with this launch. Lady Gaga’s first foray into perfumes was a commercial success with a monumental marketing proposal, but it was just a bland, generic, simplistic juice… this is something else. If it weren’t for its low performance and sillage, Eau de Gaga would compete with any designer line or even niche. The scent, without being groundbreaking or super original, is very mature and well-blended, where lime and violet are clearly noticeable, of high quality, nothing synthetic. It’s elegant-casual, classic, sober, almost Italian. I debated between it smelling like Mugler Cologne or one of Tom Ford’s violet-led scents, or perhaps Narciso Rodriguez for Him, but more acidic and fresh, within that line. Unfortunately, after two hours, the fragrance fades on the skin, leaving agonizing trail notes that aren’t enough to enjoy it even on a personal level. Aside from the price, which is fair, the important thing is that it moves away from the cotton candy and cherry scents that plague celebrity fragrances. As expected, it was a resounding sales failure compared to Fame, since Eau de Gaga is what one would expect for a more mature audience that typically doesn’t approach these proposals; it’s a shame because it’s a well-differentiated perfume in its sector, without glitter, stones, or pink pom-poms.

Beauty in simplicity: a touch of lime with a subtle sweetness and violet. From the second hour to six, it smells the same, and it doesn’t need to evolve. That mix is incredibly fresh, cheerful, and authentic. It’s a happy fragrance. If it were a person, it would be the one who, without poses or demagoguery, knows how to do just enough to make you feel good and special. Totally unisex, works best in warm weather, and can be worn all day.

Beauty in simplicity. Lime extract, which feels slightly sugary, and violet. From the second spray to the sixth hour, it smells exactly like that; it doesn’t evolve, and it doesn’t need to. That combination works wonderfully—fresh, cheerful, and authentic. I’d say it’s a happy fragrance. If she were a person, she’d be the one who, without pretense or drama, knows exactly how to make you feel good and special. Totally unisex. Works better in warm weather and can be worn anytime.

  • Eau de Gaga was a pleasant surprise; it was forgotten on a shelf and that was the only one left. The box and bottle caught my eye, very well presented (I thought it was something fancy). I asked if it was by the pop singer and was disappointed, thinking of another bad celebrity fragrance. But curiosity won: I asked if it was for women, and he said I don’t think so, it’s unisex. I asked the price: $30. I couldn’t resist and bought it. It’s a good scent, designed as something extravagant for women that results in a simple, well-made masculine essence. I don’t see it as dark, but rather masculine and pleasant. Projection is average, noticeable for the first 3 hours. Longevity is 7 to 8 hours, mostly the last 4 hours close to the skin. Recommended if you can find it for no more than $35.

It’s a revelation every time I try it: citrus notes at first that settle into the skin and turn rebellious with a very marked leather. Totally unisex with niche quality, nothing cheap. Both of Lady Gaga’s creations are distinct and surprising. I recommend it.

It’s a surprise upon trying it several times. At first, you notice citrus, but as it settles on the skin, it becomes rebellious thanks to that leather. It’s totally unisex and smells like a niche fragrance; nothing cheap. Lady Gaga’s two creations are very distinct and surprising. I recommend it.

  • Candycandy40

At first, it seemed very dry and masculine, but over time, I’ve adopted it as unisex. It’s a pity it’s no longer available. It has that dry autumnal touch, and although they don’t say it, I smell lavender mixed with violet, giving it a mysterious vibe. For a celebrity fragrance, it doesn’t last badly and is different from the usual stuff.

At first, it didn’t convince me; I thought it was very masculine and dry. Over time, I’ve learned to love it; it’s unisex and it’s a shame it’s no longer available. It’s dry, autumnal, and although they don’t say it, there’s lavender that mixed with violet gives a mysterious touch. It doesn’t last bad for a celebrity fragrance and it’s different from the usual.

  • LosPerfumesDeJavi

The first time I wore it on my wrist, it reminded me a lot of Roberto Cavalli Uomo because of the violet, only this one smells fresher. It’s a pleasant aroma of white violet with bergamot; the violet is very potent and I love it. The downside is that its longevity and sillage are very poor, honestly. It would have been a fantastic creation if it lasted longer and had more projection, but it lacks both. You can still find it at El Corte Inglés for €15 in 75ml or €10 in 50ml (at least here in Albacete).

  • I’ve had this since 2016 because it never made it to Mexico due to a lack of hype, but I kept it because it stays true to its original scent. It starts strong with lemon, transitions into a sweet floral violet note which is the key, and by the hour, a velvety leather emerges—easy to wear. Between 3 and 4 hours, all three notes balance out, but from 4 to 6 hours, the violet and leather dominate with the lemon lingering in the background. It’s unisex but leans masculine, not really for girls. It’s a fragrance ahead of its time with an interesting four-note composition; if it had launched in 2024 with the niche hype, it would be a different story. Too bad it’s discontinued.
