Descripción

Dolce Colata by Sicili Fragrances is a family olfactory creation for men and women, launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Salvador Castellanos. The top notes unfold a tropical freshness with coconut, pineapple, grapefruit, and tangerine; the heart reveals the sensuality of ylang-ylang and jasmine; while the base notes close the composition with an elegant blend of marine notes, exotic fruits, and rum.

I’m being super honest for those looking for niche perfumes, especially if you’re a man wanting real opinions. The official pyramid doesn’t match how it actually evolves; in fresh weather, the real progression from first spray to dry-down is: salty/mineral, marine, coconut, sweet, citrus, fruity, aromatic, white floral, and woody. The scent is good but slightly synthetic; I expected a rum and coconut cocktail as advertised, but instead got mineral/solar notes like Issey Miyake’s Fussion that not everyone will love. The citrus and fruity opening is pleasant and projects well quickly, giving way to a creamy coconut with a salty mineral vibe that’s not bad—it helps keep it from being too sweet (good for versatility) and lasts through 40-degree heat without smelling like sunscreen, unlike other coconut fragrances. It’s rich in the first stage but leans more feminine than masculine, reminding me of commercial hair creams with coconut and exotic fruits like passionfruit. After an hour, it stays sweet; the fruity notes are noticeable but the citrus fades, turning saltier and unstable, trying to be marine but missing the mark, smelling more like water lily or something green. My disappointment was the rum, mojito, or alcoholic touch I wanted for the beach; it wasn’t there at all. The floral aspect is perceptible, and the ylang-ylang adds a creamy, powdery feel with the coconut. Skin longevity: 7 hours (the last hour clings very close to the skin). Sillage: moderate, up to a meter at first, then closer and closer until the end. It might only work for men under 30, isn’t formal at all, and is designed for special spring and summer vacations.
