The name doesn’t lie: this Desert Rose is deep and characterful, not powdery at all. The elegant oud wraps around it without making it muddy or aggressive. From the very first spritz, the rose and oud blend screams refined masculinity. The white florals are there, but they don’t steal the show from the star. After a few minutes, the rose settles in while the whites recede to the background, leaving a warm, sober base. Performance is excellent: correct longevity and moderate sillage that doesn’t overwhelm. Perfect for formal or semi-formal winter events with a black suit. It might remind you a bit of Oud Ispahan due to the theme, but it has its own identity and is a rivalless price point for an oriental floral jewel.
