Smells gorgeous with a prominent damask rose opening (just like the Portrait of a Lady I’m wearing today), accented by metallic saffron and plum notes. Some might think of their grandmother’s rose perfumes, but don’t be alarmed. Rose dominates, paired with soft leather and patchouli that adds hints of wet cocoa. The dry down features leather, cedar, and vetiver with subtle smoky touches. It’s definitely a rose-forward perfume alongside the plum; if you don’t like roses, this isn’t for you. Totally unisex, though not all men feel comfortable wearing it due to that dominant powdery rose.
