Covered In Roses by Bath & Body Works

I tried it for the first time today. It’s insane. I’ve only tried Delina on skin once and I found it beautiful. I have a pretty cheap dupe of Delina, and my boss smelled it and found it identical. (The original Delina I smelled on skin was hers) This Cover in Roses gives you the same vibe as Delina. It’s soft. Super feminine. With a lot of rose. Like those bud roses. The pink ones. Sweet. Super yummy for me. And it really smells just like my cheap Delina dupe. 🤗

I tried it!!!! It’s for wearing when it’s 40 degrees in the shade, a very good clean and lightweight fragrance for those days when you don’t even want to think about wearing perfume. Scent: 10/10 Versatility: for after the shower or for really hot days Performance: what you’d expect from a body splash, honestly. Better than the Victoria’s Secret ones at least. Overall a 10, I’d buy the bottle if they ever put it on sale again, because here in Argentina the Bath and Body Works people take the time to reply that NO SE ATIENDE ONLINE and they only have a store in the capital 🙂 so when the semi annual sale happened I totally missed out on everything.

I wanted to like it because I have fashionably london and I like it a lot but I find it way too strong and I don’t like how it fills up spaces; I bought this one because I found it at a good price but I don’t like it at all, I find it very sweet and ambery, the rose and berries last very little on me, on drydown the amber and sugar linger too much, which triggers a headache for me, if you’re like me and ambery fragrances give you migraines, better try it before buying it

If you’re a fan of Delina by Parfums de Marly, this Covered in Roses body mist by Bath & Body Works is a total surprise. I have Delina and I treasure it like gold, so when I tried this body mist, I couldn’t believe it: the similarity is crazy! And best of all, for only $21,000, you can spray freely and smell almost exactly the same. I have other body mists like Delilah and Fashionably London, which do look like Delina, but it’s clear they’re not the same. However, this Covered in Roses has such a similar vibe it’s hard to believe. If you’re looking for something more affordable but with that elegant feminine floral touch of Delina, this is the perfect product. It’s great to enjoy that fragrance without worrying about the price, because with this body mist you can apply it lavishly without feeling like you’re wasting your expensive perfume. Totally recommended for those of us who love Delina but also want something for every day!

Rich and rich, smells exactly like Dalina and Delilah.

It’s a good dupe, but without a direct comparison, it’s just a nice body mist. At first, it smelled very sweet and I wasn’t a fan, but over time, the rose notes come through and the sweetness fades, so I ended up liking it. It dries down softly and personally. What I don’t love is the longevity; it’s fleeting, maybe 2-3 hours. But considering the huge price difference with the original, it’s worth refilling a perfume rollerball and reapplying. It’s a pretty scent, just not impressive or particularly interesting. Scent: 7/10, Sillage: 7/10, Longevity: 7/10.

I haven’t had the chance to try Delina, but I own Idole Now and this mist resembles it quite a bit, with soft, sweet roses. Covered In Roses was a gift and surprised me for the better; it’s a beautiful body mist.
