In The Stars by Bath & Body Works is a floral musk woody fragrance for women. Launched in 2017, this olfactory composition unfolds an aromatic pyramid that evokes celestial luminosity. The top notes feature fresh fruity and floral accords that immediately capture attention with their vibrant presence. The heart reveals a harmonious blend of floral and woody tones, adding depth and elegance, while the base settles into a warm, enveloping musk that lingers on the skin. The perfumer behind this creation has successfully fused the delicacy of florals with the warmth of musk and wood, resulting in a sophisticated and contemporary essence.

  • I admit perfumes aren’t cheap, but this is one of the best budget options for everyday wear. It smells original and strong: starts citrusy at first but turns woody over time. It’s my favorite; if you wear the lotion and the perfume, it lasts up to two days and has more sillage than high-end ones. The funny thing is that people always ask what I’m wearing, while with other scents they don’t. It’s not a common scent; you can tell it but you won’t smell it on anyone else; in the end, you’re left wondering how wood smells with time.

  • Alejandra Maravilla

Definitely one of those perfumes where you either fall in love or hate it—no middle ground. I like fresh and woody scents, but here the woods dominate too much and are very intense. The good news is it lasts all day on skin and clothes. Just a warning: try before you buy; I bought it blind because there are no BBW stores in my city, and I’ve only worn it twice, but it gives me headaches and nausea.

  • Alejandra Maravilla

Definitely, this is a lotion you either love or hate; there’s no middle ground. I like fresh and woody scents, but this one doesn’t work for me; the wood notes are too prominent and very strong. That said, it will last all day, whether on skin or especially on clothes. You must try it before buying. I bought it blindly because there are no BBW branches in my city, and I’ve only used it twice, but it gives me headaches and nausea.

  • It’s very potent and long-lasting, but to my taste, it’s a bit masculine; fresh but with a woody and amber base. Try it before buying; don’t let reviews fool you.

  • This scent is delicious; it makes me think of something fresh and bright at the same time. I loved it.

  • Rochelle_

It’s true that when it dries down, the woody notes really come through and give it a masculine touch, but without losing that warmth. I absolutely love it! On my skin, it performs amazingly; every time I use it, I feel fresh and elegant. It’s the body mist that lasts the longest and projects the best for me.

  • Marielanne

Something weird happens with this body mist; I bought it blindly and I don’t dare to use it. It smells like antiseptic for wounds with a perfume base. It gives me a bad feeling; it lasted a decent amount on the skin, but I don’t think I’ll use it again. The bottle is almost full because I can’t handle the scent.

  • Yasmin2015

Spicy and woody, I sense something similar to Burberry Her. It doesn’t smell like an ordinary body mist, but it’s too soft on the skin and has very little longevity. I don’t dislike it and will keep using it, but I don’t think I’ll restock.

  • amatista77

I love this body mist because it behaves like a real perfume; it lasts and projects a lot, ideal for layering with perfumes from the same line or BR540 dupes. Yes, it’s very woody and has that medicinal touch that scares many people, but with love you can decipher it… and that sugary, fluffy base, very similar to Cloud, just makes me fall in love.

  • amatista77

I love this body mist because it wears like a perfume, lasts long, and projects a lot. Ideal for layering with perfumes from the line or dupes of the BR540. It’s very woody with that medicinal touch that scares many people, but with love you can decipher it… that sugary, fluffy base, Cloud-style, has me hooked.

  • I didn’t think I’d like it; the notes didn’t call to me, but once I smelled it, I didn’t hesitate to buy. It’s a beautiful scent, addictive, an exquisite sweet embrace.

  • It smells very woody to me and doesn’t quite convince me. I consider it a unisex, elegant fragrance, but I find it a bit too masculine for my taste.

  • I find it very woody and it doesn’t quite convince me. I see it as unisex and elegant, but the masculinity I detect gives me pause.

  • Huge, rich, and lasts quite a bit on the skin for a body splash (2-3 hours), perfect. I bought three from the brand and the other two didn’t convince me as much; I’d buy this one again without hesitation. It’s feminine, sweet like oranges with caramel, and a touch of woods.

  • Yenvillasmil

I love it; it has the quality of a body mist and mixes with everything. It smells like sugar crystals with a citrus and resin touch, ending up woody and perfect for men. It lasts 3 hours, but if you mix it with others from that line, you get up to 5 hours.

  • Super sweet but with a very marked unisex vibe. For a body mist, the longevity and projection are incredibly high, and it smells like a luxury product.

  • It’s very similar to Cloud, you know? Cloud is very similar to In the Stars. This one smells more like wood, it’s more sensual, more unisex, more mature, more attractive, and more long-lasting (and that’s just a body splash).

  • Excellent Body Mist. It throws out quite a bit of amber, and the woods appear quickly, giving the fragrance a lot of ‘body’. It feels sweet but isn’t ‘food-like’. It seems like an expensive perfume with good projection and sillage. It lasts well and is better than countless perfumes I’ve used. It doesn’t remind me of Cloud, which I use a lot, but you could use the lotion and layer it, and it works great.

  • Brutal hit. The amber flies off and the woods emerge quickly, giving it body without being sweet in a edible way. Smells expensive, projects well, and has a great trail. It lasts a long time and beats many perfumes I’ve tried. It doesn’t remind me of my Cloud, but the cream works great for layering and ends up top-tier.

  • You can tell it smells like Cloud, but watch out: Cloud smells like In the Stars. This one is woodier, sensual, unisex, mature, attractive, and lasts longer than a body splash.

  • Satine.noir

I own many body mists from Natura, Victoria Secret, and Avon, and this is the first from this brand that makes me think of an expensive, unique perfume. My first impression was ‘wow!’—I’m not used to it (I usually prefer sweet scents). It’s more woody and ambered with a touch of bitter orange; it seems unisex but has something seductive that fascinates me. Now I urgently need similar perfumes because I love it and don’t want to lose it; plus, it’s brutal when mixed 🔥

  • Satine.noir

I have many body mists from Natura, Victoria’s Secret, and Avon, and yet this is the first from this brand that transports me to an expensive, unique perfume. My first impression was: ‘wow!’, this isn’t what I’m used to (almost everything is gourmand). It’s more woody, with an amber touch and a bit of bitter orange; it seems unisex but has something seductive that fascinates me. Now I urgently need similar perfumes because I love it and would never want to lose this scent; by the way, it’s brutal for layering 🔥.

  • mikr0kosmos

Smells delicious, like sugar with sandalwood and wood. But I almost never use it because the longevity is terrible; the scent is very faint and feels like water.

  • Reminds me a lot of going shopping at the mall. It’s a little sweet but not annoying at all; smells clean. Overall, I liked it quite a bit.

  • manuelarodguez

It’s not the worst body mist, but I don’t get the hype. Neither this nor the other smells like Baccarat Rouge. It smells fresh and a bit sweet, but I get the feeling it’s just a cheap body mist.

  • vanellope12

Delicious for winter outings! It reminds me of going to the mall to buy Christmas gifts. It smells strong and projects a lot for a body mist. I love it; I’d wear it during the day or out at night partying. It’s pure bliss.

  • Sweet, earthy, citrusy, and creamy. Lasts well and projects. It’s in the style of the famous BR540 and Cloud (though not a clone), but without that dirty note that bothers some people.

  • carito_kyun

A very unique body mist; sweet and woody, absolutely delicious. I’ve tried almost all of Victoria Secret and Bath and Body Works, and this one stands out for giving that expensive perfume vibe. It reminds me of Ariana’s Cloud but isn’t the same; perfect for mixing. Too bad it barely lasts on the skin—I can’t smell it after an hour.

  • I absolutely love it! It lasts well on my skin and projects nicely. It’s much simpler than BR but still incredibly rich. I use it for mixing and I’m obsessed.

  • I keep it alongside Cloud and BR540, but my nose detects nothing similar to either. It’s a sweet, fresh, and pretty scent, but it doesn’t even remotely resemble Baccarat Rouge.

  • Smells weird but not gross; it’s sweet and woody with a mature vibe that reminded me of VS Midnight Bloom, just less sweet. Worth trying to mix with Cloud or a dupe. Lasting power is average, about 2-3 hours. Didn’t hook me personally, but if you like these scents, it’ll be a hit.

In The Stars by Bath & Body Works is a woody oriental fragrance for women. Launched in 2018, the nose behind this composition is Patricia Bilodeau. • Strange, the mist is top-notch, but watch out: it smells different from the body wash, more bitter and dry, didn’t convince me. I tested it excitedly thinking it would be the same scent but more potent, and no, not even close.

  • tandesireerome

A delight. If you hate sweet scents, this is your fragrance. It captivated me instantly with that sandalwood and musk I caught immediately, and now I won’t let it go. I love it for night, perfect for layering.

  • Satine.noir

First body mist from this brand. Unlike several Victoria’s Secret ones I own, this isn’t as sweet or as fleeting. There’s something captivating about it; I feel warm and woody. It has a lot of personality and is very unisex. It’s totally different from everything in my collection, and I don’t have anything that resembles it. It’s a pleasant surprise that it smells like an expensive perfume, lasts longer than several other fragrances, and has a unique personality that escapes the gourmand trend I usually fall for. Simply enchanting.

  • First mist from the brand. Unlike many Victoria’s Secret scents, this isn’t so sweet or fleeting. Something catches me; I feel it’s warm and androgynous, full of personality and very unisex. It’s very different from my collection; I don’t have anything similar. I was pleasantly surprised that it smells like an expensive perfume, lasts longer than several others, and has a unique personality that escapes the gourmand trend I usually succumb to. Simply enchanting.

  • I love it; I think it’s my favorite BBW scent after a rigorous test. I use it with several of the brand’s products, like shower gel, to complement my perfumes. I must say it smells worthy of a real perfume. I don’t know Baccarat Rouge, but I know Cloud; instantly I thought ‘wow, it’s similar’, but this isn’t lactonic. It has that rare Cloud note, that magical ‘mute’ note, just like Burberry Her, but here it’s not milk; it’s more powdery, floral, and fruity, as if Cloud turned into impalpable sugar over flowers and tangerine. It also reminds me of JPG’s Classique Essence, an old one I adore. It’s a standout scent, and I feel like buying the mist, though I feel it’s a bit too unisex when dry.

  • I absolutely love it; it’s my favorite from B&BW after trying everything. I use it with my body washes because it actually smells like real perfume. I don’t know Baccarat, but I do know Cloud; at first, I thought they were the same, but this doesn’t smell milky. It has that magical, muted vibe from Cloud, similar to Burberry Her, but here it’s more powdery, floral, and fruity, like Cloud is just powdered sugar over flowers and orange. It also reminds me of the classic JPG scent, which I adore. It’s a standout aroma, and I’m tempted to buy the body mist, though it dries down a bit unisex, which holds me back.

  • I have it in mist, and it’s one of the longest-lasting from BBW. It smells citrusy, sandalwood-like, with a sparkling note; I prefer it for fresh days because in summer it could be heavy. I’d describe it as refined and elegant.

  • In The Stars opens with a very noticeable tangerine, but quickly shifts to that typical BR540 woody amber. To clear up any doubts: yes, it reminds me of Cloud, yes of Burberry Her, and Instant Crush and similar ones. It’s similar because it follows the citrus top, floral heart, and amber base formula. But what Cloud has is that wonderful lactonic accord that makes it distinct. Using figures, Cloud is rounded and In The Stars is angular. It’s the bouba/kiki effect: one is sweet and gourmand, the other incredibly woody and ambered. For me, who uses Cloud religiously and knows its notes, I notice huge differences. For a mist, it lasts a long time on skin and clothes. It seems very dry and bitter to wear alone. It’s excellent for combining: with Cloud it makes it stronger, and with Warm Vanilla Sugar it creates an amber-vanilla scent, and I’ve had success. I’ll use it that way because I don’t quite like it on its own. I bought it on promotion with 40% off and only added it for that. If you like it, I’d recommend Cloud, which lasts longer and is richer.

  • I saw comments saying it was a clone of two perfumes I love and bought it blindly with the body wash thinking it would be similar to BK540 or Cloud. What a disappointment, because those two are sweet 🍭 and this BBW one is not sweet at all. No matter how much I search, I can’t find that it’s a clone of either; rather, it has its own essence. When dry, it reminds me of a BK540 note, which is the amber, but from there to being a clone, you’d need years 😏. What a shame to get your hopes up for something that isn’t. The one it actually resembles is Oud for Greatness by INITIO.

  • It’s literally THE CLONE of Ariana Grande’s Cloud, no doubts, I LOVE this perfume. I was pleasantly surprised, 100% recommended. What also surprised me was its longevity. In The Stars: excellent service, hahaha.

  • It’s literally the clone of Ariana Grande’s Cloud; I absolutely adore it. I was blown away, 100% recommended. What really surprised me was the longevity. In the Stars: top-notch service, hahaha.

  • I have the In The Stars hand cream; it smells a bit similar to Cloud, but ITS is less sweet and more woody, which is why I prefer Cloud. It lasts many hours on the skin, and that’s just the cream. If you don’t like sweet fragrances, try In The Stars.

  • lilacmoonlight

If Baccarat Rouge had a mist version or a summer flanker, I think it would be ‘In The Stars’. Clearly it’s a dupe of BR540, but it’s more ‘fresh’, more ‘light’, and less ‘heavy’ than BR540; those who have tried that fragrance know what I mean, it’s quite special. Between Cloud and this, I definitely stick with ITS. I think it’s a much better dupe and can be used both in winter and summer. It’s a perfume in a mist bottle, has great sillage and projection, and lasts quite a bit on the skin.

  • The In the Stars hand cream smells a bit like Cloud, but it’s less sweet and more woody, which is why I prefer Cloud. It lasts for hours on the skin, even though it’s just a cream. If you’re not a fan of sweet scents, try In the Stars.

  • Geno Guerrero

In the Stars caught me off guard: it smells like Baccarat Rouge 540 but without that metallic edge. Even though the notes don’t say it, I’m definitely getting saffron dancing with amber and wood. Overall, a fantastic fragrance at a steal of a price.
