It’s green, but not that 70s barbershop green or the classic French kind; it’s wet, vibrant, and almost citrusy like the tropical rainforests of central and southern America, where everything is alive and moving. What surprises me most is how it changes with the weather: in the cold, it stays static on the opening notes, but in the heat, it becomes mobile, fun, and sparkling. I was disappointed trying it in the cold because I liked the concept, but in the heat, the notes come alive. I detect more than just passionfruit, though I can’t identify them all. The marijuana doesn’t smell like heavy smoke or burnt weed, but rather whole plant, hemp, leaves, and flowers. The neroli and leather accentuate those facets: the neroli brings out the green at the start, and the leather adds dryness at the end. I don’t detect the cotton candy, balsam of Peru, or ambroxan; I suppose they’re just fixatives. It’s a perfect unisex scent for all ages and occasions. I love its versatility, though it depends heavily on the climate. I recommend it as a signature scent, but don’t buy a big bottle blindly. It has good longevity and excellent sillage, which is simply exceptional in the heat.
