A spectacular perfume, amazing both forward and in reverse. For me, the standout notes are almond, rice, and tonka bean; after a while, it smells like an old library due to that paper note. I don’t detect the incense or the other notes. It feels very original, nothing I’ve smelled before. Is it gourmand? Yes, but with nuances: not very sweet, definitely warm, like a soft, affectionate hug. As for woody notes, honestly, I don’t sense any. It’s definitely unisex. I see it as ideal for daytime and work; it’s not invasive or overwhelming. It’s a fragrance for personal enjoyment—you’ll notice it. It doesn’t evolve much, smelling the same from start to finish. On my skin, it lasts about 5 hours, maybe a bit longer, but you’ll need to reapply. I’ve had it for a few weeks; I’ll give it time to ‘mature’ and see if it reveals more. Projection won’t improve much, so keep that in mind. It was a blind buy based on the notes, and I got lucky because I love it. It’s not floral, so it won’t appeal to everyone. My advice: always test it on your skin before buying if you can.
