Lutens took Sheldrake to his garden in Marrakech and said, ‘I want it to smell like this.’ It’s opulent and warm; on my skin, it highlights a soft cedar with rich neroli notes that give it an adult character, all sweetened by honey, a Lutens signature. It lasts and projects for hours with just a few sprays. I see it as unisex but difficult to wear: it requires personality. It’s serious, majestic, and elegant. Ideal for formal and evening events. It reflects the charm of Marrakech.

Here, the neroli takes charge, even though it’s called Cedre; on my skin, that’s what stands out the most. I see it as floral, with a spicy touch of cinnamon and clove, and cedar in the background. Unlike the previous one, I think it’s unisex but suits a woman better. Be careful with the sprays: I overdid it and ended up feeling overwhelmed by the intensity at the end of the day. Projection and longevity are extremely high. Best for cold climates and in the evening. It won’t leave you indifferent.
