Wow, here’s the second opinion! It smells like smoked cough syrup; it’s unique, rare, and confusing. It lasts five minutes, then the orchestra falls into place. You can tell there’s a leather base, even if they don’t say so. It has woods, amber, and smoke; it’s a blast. The scent starts strong like an English horse and ends soft like a mule trotting. The longevity is poor and the projection is terrible; you can only smell it five centimeters from your nose. On my skin, it lasts about two hours. In my style, it reminds me of Mancera but less loud and synthetic. The scent is bad, timeless, ideal for cool afternoons or nights, not for summer. In short, I don’t like it and it lacks usability; it’s not that the scent is bad, it’s that it smells like olive oil—you know it’s there, but you don’t feel it or get noticed. A pity for the price. Another disappointment from this brand; I won’t buy or recommend again. Scent 3.5/10, Sillage 3/10, Longevity 3.5/10, Projection 4/10.

We know Kosmala uses synthetics, so that sets the tone, but it doesn’t smell like a pharmacy like Zoologist’s T-Rex; it’s subtler. At first, it smells like cheese due to the oud; it’s a woody fragrance with incense and ambergris, but the animal touch of the synthetic oud dominates everything. It’s not easy to wear and my girlfriend didn’t like it at all. It won’t attract compliments if that’s what you’re looking for, but it will make people ask what you’re wearing. My advice: get a decant first. If you want to smell like potent wood, animal, and cheese, buy it. P.S. What I like most is the story of the ritual it emulates: in the Middle East, they burn agarwood chips to pray. I don’t know if it achieves that, but the scent is very peculiar.

Seriously, no reviews? Well, I bought a decant and with God’s help it will become a bottle. What a delicious and creamy fragrance! I confess I’m terrible at detecting notes; I don’t know what the oud smells like, but it’s very similar to Oud for Greatness. I don’t think it has great sillage, but it lasts quite a while. It’s a gorgeous fragrance; I wear it casually and mostly at night.
