  I first met this in the 90s and loved it; I hadn’t seen it in years until I found it at a local perfumerie to try again. It’s a classic lotion, a mix of Eau Sauvage, Loewe Pour Homme, and Drakkar Noir. Fresh, citrusy, and herbal. It starts with citrus and greens (lemon verbena and basil) before turning spicy with lavender, rosemary, nutmeg, and moss. Ideal for spring and summer. Lasts over 10 hours. If you like these fragrances, you’ll probably like this one too, perhaps with slightly lower quality but at a modest price and with great aroma.

  Excellent green and citrus fragrance, fougère style. The opening is a synthetic lemon that fades quickly, but then it smells like Loewe Light or the green version of Polo Ralph Lauren. Very masculine and clean. If you can find it, it’s a total win for the price.

  An underrated gem: Bowling Green is a classic chypre. The green notes of fir, pine, lemon verbena, and oakmoss stand out, with citrus and lavender at the start providing cleanliness and that 80s vibe. Potent and long-lasting, it wears well in intermediate seasons and even summer. Cheap and never disappoints. Whether you’re on a budget or not, it’s the perfect option to spend little and smell great. Good, beautiful, cheap, extra potent, and long-lasting.

The entire trail features cloves and cinnamon; it smells masculine, clean, and characterful. Think of it as a rustic, powerful version of Eau Sauvage. Not for romantic dates, but for tidy, business-like guys. Best for men over 35. Don’t overuse it because it evolves beautifully with a little more quantity; lasts 7-8 hours on skin and over 10 on clothes.

Not for romantic dates; it’s the scent of neat, businesslike people. Best for men over 35. Why not give it a try? It evolves beautifully with a bit more application, has plenty of notes, and lasts 7-8 hours on skin and over 10 on clothes.

  It’s a citrus fougère that smells like filtered car air inside. Potent with amazing projection and longevity; I think it’s better suited for men over 40.
