A fragrance I really liked. It starts with a clean, elegant, soapy floral scent, similar to Lacoste White, but then tends to resemble Black Mandarin due to the tonka bean. I’m not saying it’s the same, but it’s very close to that lineage of Infusion d’Prada. It has something soapy coming out of the shower but intense. I’m not sure if it’s as much of a summer scent, but something about this perfume strikes a balance between clean, good trail, and class, causing many compliments from women. Even colleagues told me they saw me wearing this fragrance in a white robe reading the newspaper in the morning. Too bad I’m already married; otherwise, another rooster would crow, and I wouldn’t forgive myself.
I agree with the first reviewer: I had my doubts about this line reminiscent of Lacoste’s Fleur du Male, with its white bottle and common visual theme. I’m not opposed to unisex or transgressive scents, but I like the dry-down to be well-defined, like Joop! Homme, so that a woman sees it favorably on a man without wanting to steal it for herself. To the point: I liked its balsamic opening, like a floral body oil with lavender, ideal post-shower to prolong that sense of cleanliness but in a more dignified way. A warm note finishing in woods. My wife loved it, and I believe it was the only one of my recent purchases that got a thumbs up. You might like it, but it doesn’t guarantee it will suit you due to your pH or age; at 41, I notice I can’t wear the same ones I did when I wasn’t 30. I openly recommend it to give a sigh of delight to that special person or for an intimate occasion—nothing for clubs or polluted places because it’s not made for that… if you see it, don’t hesitate to buy it.
Well, to start, the opening is a bit chaotic, but within minutes it settles into a citrusy, slightly powdery scent. The trail is woody and acceptable, with tonka bean (sarrapia) as the star. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it’s a pleasant aroma for summer and daily wear.
