Honestly, this fragrance is better than the one I tried a few days ago. It’s different, fresh, and intoxicating; standout ingredients include mineral notes and green pepper, something uncommon that I really like. However, I recommend testing it before buying due to the price, as these are quite expensive. The trail and longevity are good, and several people have asked me what perfume I’m wearing—it doesn’t go unnoticed.
I’d been driving for hours on Scottish roads at night, through fog and drizzle, thinking about things I’ll never get back. Tired and hungry, I pulled into a service area—those timeless places where people wander their souls. I spotted a clerk in an orange uniform, grabbed a coffee and a machine-made sandwich. Leaning against the table, staring at my coffee and mayo-drenched bread, I felt comforted. Then a lanky eleven-year-old with an outdated haircut appeared, rummaging through the change trays for coins. Soon he was talking to a tall, well-dressed woman, his mother, and then a strange father with chiseled features like a doll and very pale eyes. Blood Concept Black AB smells exactly like that service area: weirdness, odd people, a space outside the norm. It’s an indecipherable scent: citrus at first, then tons of clean industrial musk, pepper, and wood, all mixed without evolving, like a constant pounding. It’s not bad, but it seems made for beings traveling between dimensions without staying in any one. A fragrance for shadows, for civilizations in the interstices of time. While eating, I thought they were vampires, but it was just an excuse to avoid seeing how deeply alone I felt.
Snagged it on sale at a Canary Islands website, so for the bargain price, it works well (though at full price, I’m not sure I’d still be so thrilled). It’s citrusy, very dry, and devoid of sweetness. The wood and musk base holds up okay, but it smells highly synthetic, almost chemical; sometimes it’s hard to distinguish the notes. It’s a subtle citrus that lingers and leaves a discreet aura. Reminds me of brands like Wstrwntric Molecules, Aether, or Nomenclature. Perfect for summer and daytime. Pleasant. Scent: 7, Longevity: 8, Projection: 5, Value: 7.5 (for the 20€/60ml deal, though it would drop to 4 at 90€), Versatility: 9 (so subtle it’s like not wearing perfume), Originality: 8, Overall: 6.5. Keywords: synthetic, citrus, grapefruit, pepper, musk, subtle, summer.
