Ideal for summer and sports: a simple, relaxed fragrance made to accompany you outdoors. Like Biotherm, it focuses more on utility than on the aroma, which is pleasant and functional. Aquafitness is for the heat and sweat, but also for a sunny Sunday. Perfect and super informal. It has a simple citrus structure that ends in a soft, sweet musk, which keeps it from being just a gym cologne, although that’s ultimately what it is. Citrus and mint stand out, with a salty marine air and green notes, perhaps neroli, combined with a soft honeysuckle, like a bud that hasn’t bloomed yet. It smells good for any age: a 40 or 50-year-old man in sandals, linen, and a Panama hat, or a 20-year-old in jeans and sportswear. It smells like a clean, energetic, and healthy man. Longevity matches the price (30-40$ for 120ml) and function: about three hours on average, with the first hour being very noticeable. It doesn’t have much sillage, but it’s noticeable like a breeze. I have it and use it on hot days.
Not much more to add to CockeChile’s review: the description fits perfectly with what I feel. It smells subtle but effective, like the sea, mint, and very soft lime. Highly recommended for after a shower. It’s natural, with decent ingredients, and a beast of a price—around 30€ for 100ml. It has a touch of Ocean Extreme by Cool Water, but this one smells more natural and citrusy. It reminds me a bit of Dior Homme Cologne and DHC, showing quality in that citrus opening, just like Bvlgari Acqua. It’s the missing link between all those citrus scents with a hint of mint. What a pity it lasts only 2-3 hours, when DHC and Bvlgari last 4 without a hitch. I also recommend Davidoff CoolWater Ocean Extreme if you like it; it’s spectacular and lasts longer, though it has fewer citrus notes than this Aquafitness. All four are my summer favorites, but this one is less saturated, very well balanced, and with super natural notes. The drawback is the longevity, but you can’t have everything. Scent 10/10, Sillage 6/10 (first 2 hours), Longevity 5/10, Price 9/10, Total 8/10.
It smells amazing, but what a shame it fades in an hour. It’s super soft and fresh: first mint, then the sea, lemon, and woods. I was reminded of Cool Water, but it probably doesn’t last and just sticks to the skin. Please use fixatives, damn it!
Something curious happened with this fragrance: I used to apply it after a shower to feel fresh and enjoy it myself, but I never expected the amount of compliments I got for this spectacular, summery, casual, and sensual-smelling aroma. So I bought a second bottle. What a pity they discontinued it; it’s a great scent and I highly recommend it.
@santogrial I don’t know about your country, but at least in Spain, you can find it everywhere.
I still have the last bottle I bought during the pandemic (2020), already discontinued (incomprehensible). As a summer aquatic fragrance, it smells frankly incredible; natural, sensual, masculine, and classy despite the price. It’s a gem that’s grown in legend since they stopped making it. The only downside is it’s ephemeral, like everything beautiful and unique. If you can get it, don’t hesitate to buy all the stock there is.
I kept the last bottle I grabbed during the full-blown pandemic (2020), now discontinued (incomprehensible). As a summer aquatic fragrance, it smells frankly incredible; natural, sensual, masculine, and classy despite the price. It’s a gem that’s grown in myth since they stopped producing it. Its only flaw is the longevity, ephemeral like all beautiful and unique things. If anyone finds it, don’t hesitate to buy every bottle in stock.
What a shame. It smells great but fades on the skin in less than half an hour. It should cost 10€, like the colognes from Mercadona or Bustamante.
The last time I tried it was five years ago, and it was a shame they discontinued it. It was my freshest scent, a direct hit of energy and good vibes the moment you applied it. The mint and citrus blend woke you up right after a shower, and people literally showered you with compliments on the aroma. The only downside is the longevity; after two hours, it’s gone, barely detectable on the skin. Still, I haven’t found anything else that makes me feel the same, even though it wasn’t cheap, hovering around 35 euros. What a pity…
Been using my last bottle for 5 years, and it’s such a shame they discontinued it. It was my pure energy scent, a rush of good vibes the moment I applied it. The mint and citrus wake you up after a shower, and people can’t help but compliment you on the smell. The downside is it doesn’t last; after two hours, it’s gone from the skin. But I haven’t found anything else that makes me feel the same. Plus, it wasn’t cheap—a bottle cost around 35 euros. Anyway, a real pity…
