Descripción

Azzaro Club Men by Azzaro is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2013, this signature composition by Jean-Claude Ellena unfolds with the freshness of papaya and lemon (also known as tart lime) in its top notes. The heart reveals the uniqueness of marijuana, while the base notes anchor the essence with the elegance of hinoki cypress and the warmth of musk.

  • This Azzaro smells great; it feels classic but not old. It has a distant echo of the original (very distant, luckily). It was a blind buy and a total success. The only thing is the trail is moderate, on the lower side. Scent 8/10, versatility 8/10, trail 5/10, longevity 6/10.

Damn, I haven’t tried it yet and it has cannabis, how interesting. I’d like to see who else has used it and their opinions.

  • I also bought it blindly and it turned out great. It smells very original; I can’t find any resemblance or style to anything I know. I agree with Don K: it smells classic but modern, sounds weird but that’s exactly how it is. I don’t smell burnt cannabis or the plant itself, but rather a well-executed papaya or exotic fruit that sometimes smells like sunscreen or beach products. I’d define it as a fruity soap: fruity at first (modern) and soapy at the base (classic). P.S.: The photo doesn’t do it justice; the bottle is even more beautiful in person, and the materials are high quality.

  • I bought it blindly and it turned out amazing. It smells super original; I can’t find even a hint of anything I know. I agree with Don K: it’s classic but modern, sounds weird but that’s how it is. It doesn’t smell like burnt weed or the plant, but rather a very well-done papaya or exotic fruit that sometimes gives off a sunscreen or beach cosmetic vibe. I’d define it as a fruity soap: fruity at the beginning (modern) and soapy at the end (classic). P.S.: The photo doesn’t do it justice; the bottle is gorgeous in real life and the materials feel very high quality.

  • I bought this blindly just for the cannabis note and the price. I was wondering if it actually smells like weed, since there aren’t many perfumes that use it and this is the cheapest one. The opening is intense, green, and slightly soapy, with juicy synthetic papaya giving it a tropical touch. The evolution is slow; the initial freshness fades, and after half an hour, you’re left with a sweet hashish scent—resinous and peculiar. It doesn’t just smell like that, but it’s clearly noticeable. It’s original, nothing like anything else. I don’t see daily use for it, maybe at a concert or a jazz festival.

  • I agree with those who describe it as classic yet modern. Very pleasant, more for personal enjoyment due to its moderate and soft sillage. It’s versatile because it’s not invasive and plays with the duality of an enveloping freshness that provides warmth. It lasts between eight and ten hours (on my skin), and the base notes remain well at the skin’s level at the end, like a soft caress. An interesting find at an accessible price.

  • I fully agree: it’s both classic and modern. A very pleasant fragrance, more for personal enjoyment given the moderate to soft trail. It’s versatile because it doesn’t overpower, and being both classic and modern, it plays with a dual enveloping freshness that adds warmth. It lasts between eight and ten hours (at least on my skin), and the base notes stay close to the skin at the end, like a soft caress. An interesting find at a really accessible price.

A simple fragrance that reminds me of others due to its initial notes. On my skin, it lasts almost eight hours, which is great for its price. Ideal for daily use without being tiring. I agree with many reviews.

I’ve had it for a few days, tried it on my hand, and what can I say: I love it. It’s a scent I thought was lost; maybe it resembles others, but for me, it’s like a lost gem: Roberto Capucci’s Hypnose from 1967, which I acquired in 1995. Azzaro is super pleasant, timeless, green and sweet with a citrusy, sparkling touch. The cannabis doesn’t smell like combustion or bitter, invasive plant matter; quite the opposite. It’s sociable and versatile. 100% recommended. PS: I bought it blind in 75ml and am already thinking about buying another in case it gets discontinued. Cheers.

  • Azzaro Club Man has had a lot of personality since its release, conveying something special to the wearer. Fruity and herbal, it stands out for its well-integrated cannabis note, in just the right measure, making it interesting and bold. Recommend it for breaking away from the norm, bridging extroversion and classicism. Versatile for any age, season, or moment. Very original, ideal for collectors due to the lack of similar alternatives, perfect for making a distinction with this Franco-Italian designer’s gem.

  • I’ve had it for a couple of days, sprayed it on my hand to write this review, and let me tell you, I love it. It’s a scent I thought was lost; maybe it resembles others, but to me, it reminds me of the lost gem that was ‘Hypnose by Roberto Capucci’ from 1967, which I owned in 1995. This Azzaro is super pleasant and timeless, green and sweet with something citrusy and sparkling. Obviously, the cannabis doesn’t smell burnt or bitter and invasive; quite the opposite. It’s very social and versatile. 100% recommended. P.S.: I bought it blindly in 75 ml and I’m already thinking about getting another bottle in case they discontinue it. Cheers.

  • A potent herbal and green sensation, intense like fragrances from another time. The cannabis note is noticeable but doesn’t dominate, evoking the scent of green plants, perhaps a freshly cut stem. It’s familiar yet doesn’t recall anything specific, very original. Good performance; noticeable all night (about six hours). Discreet projection. Perhaps an “outsider” for an era where trends were elsewhere; it would have fit perfectly in the eighties as a cologne for men thirty and up. Not youthful, despite some opinions to the contrary. Excellent value for money.

  • This perfume was a very pleasant surprise, a novel launch in an era of generic scents. It opens with papaya, giving a clearly fruity tone with a hint of lemon. As it develops, you feel that controversial note from the reviews: cannabis. It’s not the smell of combustion, but an uncommon yet very pleasant herbal aroma. Later, that herbal tone blends with woods. If you’re looking for something different and quite affordable, I highly recommend it.

A refined perfume with top-notch value for money. The bottle is stunning, slightly fruity and sweet with well-integrated green notes. Those of us who are legal-minded can approach it without fear; the cannabis note is delicate and well-blended, nothing invasive. It smells mature on me, pleasantly dark. I can detect it for about 5 hours with a moderate trail for the first hour and a half, then it drops to a soft sillage. I agree it’s both retro and modern, a valid option for everyday wear with an informal, cheerful touch that makes you stand out.

  • True, AZZARO CLUB is pure aromatic woody as the description states. What doesn’t add up is the note pyramid: lemon, papaya, marijuana, cypress, and musk. The lemon is there, but not as a pure citrus; it’s camouflaged in a thick, leathery wood that drowns it in a delicious, earthy mud, more terrestrial than Leo’s solar fruit. AZZARO CLUB is Fixed Earth, more Taurus than Capricorn or Virgo; stuck to the sensual, the basic, and the earthly, with an unbreakable fixation. I detect a gloomy patchouli, almost petrous, and a rusty, sandy sandalwood due to its telluric nature. I don’t detect papaya or cannabis, but rather a cypress labdanum, a resinous turpentine falling like drops of intoxicating sweat. The synthetic white musk is clear, thanks to its fixing properties. It has medium sillage and long-lasting power, ending in a rewarding woody tone. It’s an unknown gem from AZZARO, of great beauty and exultant personality, with an oriental charisma far from the brand’s typical barbershop vibe. It’s so masculine it ends up being feminine, because in the communion of sexes, it’s not about the aromas, but the pleasure they bring.

  • Azzaro Club Man has a lot of personality from the very first moment. It’s fruity and herbal, standing out for that perfectly integrated cannabis note, making it interesting and bold. Ideal for breaking away from the norm, it combines extroversion with classicism effortlessly. I recommend it for any age, season, or occasion due to its versatility. Very original, perfect for collectors seeking something unique with no real alternatives—a Franco-Italian gem to make a statement.

  • Already tried it and bought the bottle. Citrus-fruity top with a woody-resinous base. Starts with a realistic lemon mixed with green papaya—nothing sweet—lasting about 15 minutes. The heart is intriguing: it lists cannabis, but it doesn’t smell like fresh grass or hay; it’s more complex, akin to hashish, resinous, and smoky, adding class rather than stench. Projects strongly and lasts 2-3 hours. The base features a less sharp cypress with a soft musk, keeping that cannabis vibe for another 3-4 hours. In my opinion, it’s already a collector’s item, almost discontinued, with an old-school yet modern vibe. Niche quality, a designer rarity trophy to stand out. Top performance: 8-9 hours longevity, heavy projection noticeable when passing by. Occasion: spring and autumn, day or night; too dense for summer and lacks sweetness in winter. Unisex masculine because the cannabis note doesn’t evoke a specific gender. Only downside is the small bottle size. Versatility: 5.5/10, Price: 6/10, Sillage: 8.5/10, Aroma: 10/10.
