It starts very citrusy and fresh; the neroli dominates at the beginning, but then the jasmine emerges as the main note. I don’t smell frangipani or patchouli; the vanilla is very subtle and gives it that sweet touch. It doesn’t smell intensely of grape, as I expected for an Elixir. It lasted about 6 hours on my skin; it’s not overwhelming and doesn’t bother other people’s noses; it seems very soft. So far, I’ve really liked it in this cold season.
At first, it smells of grape with neroli and orange blossom, very citrusy. Then the orange blossom and jasmine come forward together with the grape, with a woody base (cedar and patchouli) and a touch of vanilla and tea. Although it’s sweet, it feels fresh and very feminine. They don’t mention the grape, but it’s there from start to finish. Some say it’s a night scent, but I’ve liked it for everyday wear. Its longevity is over 10 hours, and the trail is high to moderate.
I love this perfume… it’s one of my favorites.
I really liked it. It’s a very original, mysterious, and sensual floral. You can clearly detect the neroli, frangipani, and the woody base. I categorize it as a dark and enigmatic fragrance, more appropriate for evening wear.
I agree that it smells of grape, flowers, wood, and a bit of citrus. It’s all in an original and feminine combination; the neroli is very noticeable. I like it for summer. It’s very distinctive; my aunt wore it to her wedding and it looked splendid on her. I noticed her perfume as soon as she greeted me, and instead of congratulating her, she said ‘Givenchy.’ I smiled with satisfaction. Incredible longevity and trail!
Chypre floral was exactly what I was looking for; I’m getting familiar with this olfactory family. It’s now among my top three: oriental, gourmand, and chypre. Givenchy has so much potential; although they’ve had some misses, Ange ou Demon Le Secret Elixir is a huge hit. It’s one of the few here with only positive comments; no one dislikes it. It’s rich and elegant; on my skin, I notice lots of neroli, but the musk, tea, and vanilla keep a perfect rhythm. The trail is moderate and it sticks to the skin for hours. I agree with SeleneHdez; I prefer it for daytime, it doesn’t seem like a night scent. The ideal season is spring. Although I like it, I’m not buying it for now, but I’d love for it to be part of my collection. The bottle is stylish and describes the perfume perfectly. I love its name even more. 8/10.
It smells mysterious, like an afternoon in a cemetery. It’s an inexplicable scent, strong yet exciting. It has a bit of everything, ideal for mysterious and determined women. If you give it a chance, you’ll know what I mean.
I found it by chance while looking for deals and had never seen anything like this: it came in a set with the D’Avila Noir Eau de 125 ml and this one at 100 ml. It was an incredible bargain, at less than half the price, so I couldn’t resist. I loved it without even trying it; I already had the allure of Alien, but this is identical to me: I’m in love and thrilled about the deal.
It’s unique and sophisticated, with no comparison. What I notice most is the tea mixed with something indescribable. My only drawback is that it doesn’t leave much of a trail and doesn’t last long on my skin, so I sometimes have to reapply. But the scent captivates me, and I’ll buy it again when I run out.
I absolutely love it! My husband gave it to me because he knows my passion is for imported perfumes. It leaves a soft, sweet, feminine, and sensual scent. He picked it out for me, while I spent hours searching in the perfume shop, and he guessed it instantly: Ange ou Demon.
I bought it a few days ago and WOW, I was surprised that so many people told me how good it smelled. Neroli really stands out on me. It lasted all day, though it softened in the last few hours. I’m a guy and I loved it, just like everyone else.
I adore it; it’s one of my favorites. I wear it daily to work and feel comfortable and energized. It starts very citrusy, then becomes woody with patchouli. It doesn’t project much; it’s an intimate scent that stays on the skin and is only noticeable if you’re very close. It’s elegant and exotic. I give it an 8.
I currently use it depending on my mood. When I’m feeling strong and positive, I wear it. It’s floral, citrusy, and woody. It lasts well, and throughout the day, it leaves a vanilla trail.
I tried it and would never buy it again. I never liked it; it smells like you haven’t worn anything.
In this perfume, I see myself: feminine, sexy, and attractive. I feel this way because everyone asks me about the scent. I love it.
It didn’t last at all on my skin, despite using the full sample. The scent is average, but it doesn’t make up for such poor longevity.
Same as the classic but doesn’t last as long on the skin. I wouldn’t recommend it.
A warm fragrance with good longevity. At first, it smells like lime, then the florals, musk, and cedar add warmth. It’s not loud but comforting. It suits my skin well, and I’ve gotten compliments on the trail, even though I don’t notice it myself. Maybe I’m just projecting it onto my clothes.
I tried it yesterday. I had doubts about the classic Ange ou Demon, but I like this Elixir version better. It’s similar but richer. Good sillage and it lasted more than eight hours. Starts citrusy, then cedar and vanilla kick in. I’ll be buying it soon; perfect for spring and summer.
Le Secret Elixir is sweet, sensual, and feminine. Heads-up: it’s very sweet. It clings to the skin and leaves a trail. I love how it evolves over time. With this, Givenchy has truly won me over.
I went to buy a perfume that felt good and left a trail; I had my mind set on certain ideas, but the very nice salesperson told me she felt this fragrance. I wasn’t entirely sure because I didn’t like the other Ange ou Demon, so she applied it to me, and wow, I fell in love immediately. What a scent, oh my god, a delight. The truth is, it lasts a long time on me; undoubtedly, each person’s skin plays a primary role regarding scent and longevity, since some say it doesn’t last at all while others say it lasts a bit more, and in my case, it lasts, and lasts, and lasts. Even with the summer weather in my country, it smells exquisite and doesn’t bother others; in fact, they love it.
Sisiii, I have it; I always wanted it, and now it’s in my hands. I love it; it’s a rich, fresh, and mysterious scent that captivates. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it.
I’ve been chasing this fragrance for about 5 years, here and there, because it’s not usually in everyone’s budget. Finally, there was a deal, and my husband bought it for me because he knew how much it would mean to me; otherwise, I wouldn’t have bought it (90 bucks sting, you know! ;P). I remember the first time I smelled it; it was a fresh, clean scent that reminded me of spring, and I fell in love. Now that I’m wearing it, as I said before, I radiate a soft scent, like fruits and flowers; it’s not heavy or cloying at all, not excessively sweet; in fact, I wouldn’t even describe it as sweet, definitely not synthetic. I love it; it’s become one of my favorites for everyday wear. I think you can wear it for any occasion and season. If it’s true that I notice it more intimately, that it stands out at close range, when I first saw the bottle, I thought it would be heavier, but no, I was wrong; it’s perfect.
Cute, but it doesn’t last at all.
I love this perfume. Its scent is attractive and powerful. I adore it!
According to Perfumería Prieto, Givenchy is discontinuing it. I had it on promotion and picked up a 100ml bottle for €42.76, an absolute steal. Months passed and I saw it was still at that price, so I relaxed, but this week when I tried to buy another, it wasn’t on their website anymore. I thought they made a mistake, since that price is usually for the 30ml, so I sent them a message. They replied very kindly saying they were discontinuing it and preparing the stock to return it to the brand, but that I still had the option to buy a few bottles at the promotional price in a special batch. Now I’m waiting for two 100ml bottles. I’ll keep them like gold in a safe, even if it’s just one. I wanted to share this in case you’re lovers of this perfume like me; I refuse to stop smelling it. I’m also considering that maybe they’ll change the packaging and get rid of the old bottles (I don’t care), but anyway, at that price, it’s a bargain. Cheers!
Out of all the perfumes I own, this is by far the highest quality. I think there are categories among imports. I have two Givenchy ones and they can’t be compared. It’s eternal; it can last all day or more; to make it go away completely, I have to shower. Plus, it has a great trail. People recognize you on the street immediately. Even in the bottle, you can tell the dedication, not just in the shape but in the material; it’s finer glass. I really like how it feels on the trail; I perceive a creamier aspect better (jasmine? vanilla?). On me, what doesn’t quite convince me is the acidic touch I notice on the skin; I think it’s lemon, but I’m not good at distinguishing notes. I’ll still use it gladly, especially for special occasions; it’s a perfume that’s pleasing, distinguished, sensual but refined. It’s extremely subtle and complex, evolving throughout its development. A friend said it smells like “expensive perfume”; it doesn’t go unnoticed. My recommendation: if you liked it, don’t hesitate to buy it; it’s an excellent investment. Longevity 10/10, Trail 10/10, Sillage 10/10. Fragrance: for its subtlety, I give it 10/10, though personally I’d rate it 9. Occasions: night, outings, dates. It adapts to winter and summer; it’s all-in-one: fresh, citrusy, floral, but strong and vanilla without being cloying. Suitable for all tastes, an all-rounder!
I had it for a long time and remember it with great affection. I loved the trail it left.
Beautiful fragrance, one of my latest purchases. I’ve wanted it for ages and never had the chance. I was going to grab the 30ml, but seeing it was being discontinued, I didn’t hesitate and took the 50ml. It’s very long-lasting with an excellent trail and a unique aroma I haven’t found anywhere else (except for a certain similarity to Ange ou Demon Le Secret). It’s ideal if you want people to recognize you by your scent; it’s unforgettable. It’s not for everyday wear, not because it’s heavy, but because it’s so special. Its longevity is on another level; it’s the longest-lasting of the three years I’ve been testing perfumes. I consider it perfect for weddings or elegant day and night events.
Just tried it and it brought back memories of an Avon fragrance I loved, Sentiment. I never thought I’d feel that scent again, but I’m instantly smitten. As soon as I can, I’ll buy one because there are only a few left.
Very nice aroma. Among the floral, citrus, and woody notes, I find a tiny tobacco note at the end, which gives it a sensual touch. Good longevity on skin and excellent projection; it’s one of the perfumes that has received the most praise. Highly recommended. 👌🏻
A fragrance too beautiful. At first, it seems strong, but it settles quickly into a spectacular scent that projects and lasts forever. As hours pass, it becomes softer but remains incredibly rich. I can’t decide which note I like best, but it’s definitely rich. My mom used to wear it, and it carried for meters. It’s amazing how the scent changes on another skin and remains incredible. 10/10.
I loved it; I’m so sorry they discontinued it. I still have a little bottle, and it has a bit of scent that reminds me of so many sweet moments. People have praised it beyond measure, and I remember how happy it made me to wear it. It lasted forever on my skin, clothes, and hair; in fact, people told me it stuck to their noses. I loved it, I love it, and I’ll love it forever.
Beautiful perfume, memories of a great love in 2015. What a pity it’s discontinued.
It was so delicious! I tried it and bought it. This little perfume suits me all the time (I’ve bought several, some work and others don’t), and I think it plays well with everyone’s pH. Once I walked into a pharmacy chain that sells personal care, books, and candy; when I paid, the cashier said, ‘That’s you! You smell great, you smell like gummies.’ Yes! It smelled like grape gummies. On me, it lasted about 6 hours, and by the end, there was a soft, sweet floral trail. If it comes back, I’d buy it without hesitation. Similar fragrances are different and don’t feel the same.
Incredible as it may seem, there are still some 50 ml bottles left in a perfumery in my city. If anyone is interested, message me and I’ll act as your courier! 😊
Purple: elegant and mysterious, interesting because it’s soft yet has character. It was a gift from my mom; I think it would be hard to get on my own since it’s discontinued. She’s had it for a long time and barely used it, thinking it would suit me. I smell patchouli, vanilla, and musk, but mostly that grape accord that doesn’t appear on the list, which is curious. I don’t notice green tea or jasmine, which is a shame. I think it’s unisex, perfect for nighttime with a sexy look or for outings in autumn and winter. It doesn’t project much, but it lasts forever. It adds an enigmatic touch to my collection.
The best I’ve ever tried; I owned it, then it was discontinued, and I had to buy it again after searching everywhere. It’s mysterious, elegant, and citrusy; I detect a grape note even though it’s not listed. It’s such a unique scent that no one else has—it’s one of a kind. I love it.
The best one I’ve ever tried and I’m down to less than half the bottle. I saved it for special occasions, but it looks stunning at night, especially in winter. Maybe it doesn’t have much projection, but it lasts forever—even after a shower, it still releases scent. It has so much character: over time, you notice the vanilla and white flowers, but at first, it smells like grape gummies. I hope I can find it again at a good price.
The richest perfume in the world, I absolutely adore it and need to get my hands on it again. If anyone knows where to find it in Argentina, please let me know! Thanks!
