  • Agua Fresca de Azahar is a super feminine and soft fragrance, with the advantage of being versatile and very affordable. I bought it because I already owned Adolfo Domínguez’s Azahar and loved it, but this one, although it has similar ingredients, smells totally different. If you’re looking for something floral and citrusy for spring, affordable but of good quality, this is the one for you.

  • A few hours ago I got the scent card. I didn’t like it much and think it’s more for spring or the beach… It’s very fresh, but I wouldn’t buy it.

  • It’s delicious! Perfectly unisex, it brings freshness and a clean feeling all day, and the longevity is excellent. I say it smells like a baby; that fine, delicate citrus scent is charming. If you’re looking for a fragrance to wear every day in the summer and feel super free and fresh, this is a great option.

  • Thanks to this fragrance, I knew that neroli and orange blossom transmit well-being… they make me feel better. It’s citrusy; they say it’s unisex, but on my skin, it leans more feminine. Smelling it does me good… It feels very natural, calm, discreet, and above all refreshing. I’ll use it when I don’t feel like wearing anything else, when I need a pleasant aroma to rest, when I’m craving simplicity or want to escape cloying, intense, and overly sweet scents; this scent will be my rescue.

  • Fresh and fresh, delicious from start to finish. But the notes sound a bit childish to me; on my skin, it smells like baby perfume, which I don’t like. However, on clothes and in the trail, it’s incredible. The longevity is short, about two hours.

How did I find Azahar? I was looking for something relaxing and knew that orange blossom and neroli, besides being gorgeous, serve that purpose perfectly. I imagined blooming orange trees and realized the word comes from the Arabic ‘az-zahar’ (flowers), which reminded me of perfumer Alberto Morillas and his Seville olfactory memory. I thought about seeking out a Spanish house and a local perfumer. At La Academia del Perfume, I met Ramón Monegal, a Catalan with studies in Geneva, Grasse, and Paris, who holds the Iris chair in Florence. Then I thought of a brand that values sustainability and natural ingredients, so I chose Adolfo Domínguez. When I smelled Agua Fresca de Azahar, it felt like a hug, a coat that relaxes and wraps around you, perhaps like the feeling a child has with their mother. I gifted it to my girlfriend, and she absolutely loved it; it’s now one of her signature scents. For her, it’s relaxing and puts her in a good mood to start the day. In such a complex world, this perfume reminds us of the beauty of what is simple and essential, like a mother’s love.

  • I absolutely love this fragrance. It smells like orange blossom but much more sophisticated—not the typical childhood cologne scent. Paired with cedar, it’s exquisite. It lasts a long time on my skin and leaves a lovely trace on my clothes. I currently have one bottle in use and a backup, and I adore it. It brings me a sense of well-being and joy. Highly recommended.

  • I adore this perfume. It’s clean and pure. Those of us who have orange trees know how orange blossom smells, and Domínguez captured it beautifully. It’s like a spring day in a gorgeous little bottle. Plus, it lasts many hours, which makes sense since it’s an EDT.

  • One of my favorite fragrances. It smells like orange blossom but more sophisticated, not that typical childhood cologne scent. Combined with cedar, it’s perfect and lasts long on my skin. It’s truly exquisite and never gets old. I have one bottle in use and a spare. Highly recommended if you like orange blossom and neroli.

  • Just received this fragrance in a trade, and I’m thoroughly surprised by its delicacy and femininity. I’m completely in love. While it doesn’t last long or have much sillage, it feels incredibly refined and subtle. Once I finish it, I’ll buy it again.

  • Super pleasant. The matching body cream from the same line is rich and wonderful. I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

  • I loved it, but once it dries on my skin, it mutates into a terrible smell. I don’t know if bitter orange just doesn’t work with me or if it’s something else; it’s a sweet floral scent, far from being fresh, which turned me off. Out of everything I’ve tried from AD, only the men’s versions convinced me because they’re as fresh as I look for, not so sweet.

  • I received a decant and it seems like a sweet, pleasant, and relaxing perfume, partly because the bitter orange is very prominent. My grandmother used drops of bitter orange water, which she bought at pharmacies for drinking due to its calming effects. It turned out ideal for sleeping, relaxing at home, or meditating, because I feel it lowers my stress.

  • A very light fragrance, perfect for summer. It’s a subtle burst of bitter orange and sweet orange flowers that adds sweetness; my nose detects a very subtle note of Florentine iris giving an extreme touch of cleanliness, reminding me of Prada’s Iris infusion. That note pairs beautifully with cedar and musk.

  • Honestly, it didn’t last me even three hours despite spraying 8 times. It has a nice scent, reminiscent of kids’ colognes but more elegant than Azhar. I noticed it was sweet and a bit heavy; I expected more. It has no comparison to the classic Fresh Water—the citrus, cedar, and tonka lime are amazing and last me over 6 hours on skin and clothes. Edit: Absolutely delicious, it’s one of my favorites, soft and elegant. The combination of bitter orange, neroli, and musk is a beautiful ensemble; at first, it didn’t last, but my skin started to love it, and it reached 6 hours. It projects for the first 40 minutes and then becomes an intimate scent, perfect for daily office wear.

  • A classic in the best sense, it evokes summer afternoons from the past—fewer trips, more conversations. It inspires peace with all the beauty of bitter orange and neroli, with admirable clean delicacy. It’s unisex, though since it’s so popular, women probably wear it more; I’m a man and use it in the mornings for short outings or just spray it at home to enjoy it. Ramón Monegal makes things this beautiful and well-crafted. It’s an eau fraîche, so the performance is moderate, about 3 hours, but at this price, it doesn’t hurt to repurchase. The scent is worth it.

  • I think it’s a gorgeous fragrance. I bought it today and it performed wonderfully throughout the afternoon. For those who like bergamot water, this is the fragrance.

For those who want to smell clean, fresh, and relaxed. If you like orange blossom, you’ll like this for the neroli and orange, with a base of cedar and musk. It’s incredibly relaxing, ideal for spring and summer, or even tropical nights. Good quality, nothing synthetic, and from a niche perfumer, very good price compared to other similar infusions where you pay only for the brand. The rest of Adolfo Domínguez’s fresh waters are also rich and refreshing. In my opinion, Azahar is unisex; it would just be more feminine with other lush flowers, but Azahar is for everyone, just like orange trees bloom in spring to give us oranges in autumn.

For anyone who wants to smell clean, fresh, and feel relaxed. If you like bergamot, you’ll love this since it features neroli and orange over a base of cedarwood and musk. It’s very relaxing and feels great for spring and summer, or even tropical nights. Good quality, nothing synthetic, crafted by a niche perfumer at a very fair price compared to similar infusions where you just pay for the brand. The other fresh waters from Adolfo Domínguez are also rich and refreshing. A bergamot fragrance is always unisex in my opinion; it would just be more feminine if paired with other lush flowers in my view. Bergamot is for everyone, which is why they bloom in spring so we can enjoy the oranges in autumn.

  • It starts citrusy but settles into a fresher, slightly floral scent; I love this perfume because it reminds me of my childhood when we had an orange tree in our backyard 🙂 The scent doesn’t last long on the skin but lingers on clothes; it doesn’t have a huge trail, but someone next to you will definitely notice it. Still, you can reapply many times since the bottle is large and it never bothers people around you.

  • This scent belongs to my sister. The bergamot is very prominent; it’s quite classic and soft. Other Adolfo Domínguez fragrances have a stronger trail, but this is still very fresh and ideal for hot seasons.

  • I love bergamot; this perfume isn’t innovative at all, yet it’s very beautiful. It has that resemblance to baby bergamot cologne (like Petit Enfant) that I adore, but with added orange and cedar notes that show up significantly in the dry-down on my skin (reminds me of the cedar in Light Blue). 100% unisex. Moderate to soft projection and low longevity; on my skin it lasts about 3 hours (though I’d reapply after an hour and a half)… And while I’d love better performance, it’s an eau de toilette at a very accessible price, so I’m not bothered by reapplying… Ideal for summer and high heat, you can buy it blind if you like bergamot… When I run out, I’ll definitely buy it again (and the 120ml version)…

  • Exquisite. It never gets tiring. Incredibly fresh and citrusy. While it shares notes with many other perfumes, it’s still an excellently crafted fragrance. The only downside is it doesn’t last long on the skin, but don’t be afraid to apply a bit more; it never becomes cloying or overwhelming. A 10/10.

  • Super pleasant, but like all from this brand, the longevity is poor 😞. It’s a very clean bergamot, slightly musky. It lasts about two hours with a trail of just over a meter. 🕉️🕉️🕉️

A clean yet addictive aroma. I really can’t stop smelling my arm. You can detect the white florals paired with a slight spice from the base notes. It’s perfect for year-round wear and projects a white, light, and pristine aura.

  • I tried it because the perfume was on a great sale; I put it on with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It has excellent longevity: I showered and it was still lingering on my skin. Good projection, a rich scent, perfect for summer, hot weather, or a family afternoon.

  • BeatrizBlackwood

It’s almost certain you’d be disappointed, so I’m thrilled to find something this beautiful at such a great price. It’s true, I find myself checking my arm constantly; even though it’s unisex, the scent is incredibly refined, and I love how it instantly lifts my mood every time I wear it.

  • Almugargar

I always have a backup for summer; the last time I received the new, much more minimalist format and to my disappointment the scent isn’t the same, neither in projection nor in the notes, I’m missing nuances, a sweetened note that I don’t notice at all in the new one. The scent stayed in the room for hours and on my skin too. I still don’t understand why they reformulate perfumes that in many cases are identity markers for many clients… very eco-friendly and natural, but for me it’s clear they lowered quality in presentation and fragrance. In this case what I bought now was a fresh fragrance yes, but a very simple eau de cologne, with how beautiful it was and how long it lasted… I won’t buy it again.

A fantastic option if you’re looking for something similar to the citrus style of Dior’s Escale à Portofino or Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino, obviously saving the distance regarding longevity and note quality, because for me Dior’s Bergamot seems to be in another world… but the price difference is also brutal. And if we have to be honest, the reality is that it’s a very well-executed and refined fresh/citrus fragrance. This year for spring/summer days I’ve bought it again in a lot of 125ml + body lotion and a mini for the bag, and hey! it reminds me a lot of Portofino and its price is great (30€). Longevity is low, but layering with the lotion increases it considerably, and with the mini tube that comes in the lot, reapplication becomes comfortable. On the other hand, with the price it has, reaplicating doesn’t ‘hurt’. The trail is also discreet, but I like that… and once dry it leaves a scent on the skin of very clean white flower and citrus that attracts me a lot. On my part, I don’t detect the sweetness some mention. I see the value for money as very, very good.

  • Klaudita Chilena

I just received this fragrance and I’m fascinated by it. I’ll replace my reformulated Eau de Rochas that no longer smells like anything. I feel it fresh and relaxing and I can’t quite perceive the sweet notes it declares. I’m currently testing it in winter, but I imagine it will feel even more wonderful with heat. I found it on sale for 10 euros for 60ml, but I’ll go for the 120ml.

  • Romina333

I love it so much, it’s fresh, smells clean, and reminds me of a baby perfume. Beyond the fact that it’s an eau de toilette, I feel it for many hours, getting softer each time but you can still tell. People have praised it. It’s surely a summer fragrance due to its freshness, but I don’t mind, I use it always. I’d say for the day, I think it would be a bit plain at night.

  • SugarPlumFairy

Smells like baby perfume; my 6-year-old son ‘stole’ it and uses it to go to kindergarten, I put it on his head and clothes. Once a teacher hugged him and said: ‘this kid smells wonderful’. ‘What perfume do you use?’, two days later she had it too. Ideal for the office, for healthcare professionals, and elementary school teachers. Subtle, soft, delicate, slightly unisex, and with low longevity, but delicious.

  • molletmod.73

Great citrus cologne, Mediterranean, pleasant, therapeutic, anti-stress, anti-depression, affordable, and energizing. Unisex with a feminine touch. Lasts 2-3 hours with a moderate trail of about an hour. What if it doesn’t last like before? Well, not even Dior’s Poison lasts forever, honey, and what can we do? Buy the 200ml bottle for 35 euros, make 10ml dicants, and reatomize when you can’t smell it.

  • molletmod.73

Excellent citrus cologne, Mediterranean, pleasant, therapeutic, anti-stress, anti-depression, affordable, and energizing. Unisex with a feminine touch. Longevity: 2-3 hours with a moderate trail of 1 hour. What if it doesn’t last as long as before? Not even the Poison by Dior, honey, and what can we do? Grab the 200ml bottle for 35 bucks, make 10ml dicants, and reatomize when you don’t feel it.

  • This fragrance fills me with joy. It is citrusy, yes, but more due to the presence of orange blossom and neroli than the orange. Ideal for hot summer days, with almost 38 degrees like we have here in Córdoba, Argentina. Fresh, informal, a bit babyish. It has good longevity and projection. People compliment me every time I wear it.

  • Tulipan_negro

I was eager to try this cologne for summer. Lots of orange blossom and neroli over a base with a musk that is too present for my taste in a full-on July Madrid. We tend to review perfumes we know and buy because they work on our skin (except when we get the wind of blind buying). Friendly reminder for blind buying: when you read reviews, remember that 90% of the people who didn’t like that perfume didn’t review it.

  • La Clochard

I tried this perfume today and found it very pleasant, though also quite familiar. In the end, I remembered what it smelled like: Lacoste Pour Femme. Looking at the accords, they shouldn’t be similar, but I know which one it is: Pure Poison by Dior. They share the same profile and notes: orange at the start, orange blossom, and cedar at the end. It’s like this Adolfo Domínguez scent is for the day and Pure Poison for the night. They have such distinct aesthetics that you wouldn’t relate them at first glance, but they are similar. I loved the Dior one years ago, and I’ve really liked this one too. Most of Adolfo Domínguez’s perfumes please me; I had the image that they would be boring, but they aren’t, although maybe they aren’t incredibly original. The bottles don’t convey much. They are quite wearable perfumes, simple in their concept, and that’s a positive. I agree with other reviews that it has something tender, like a baby perfume, but it’s not childish at all. It’s simply clean and makes you feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable. A sensation like lying on a hammock on the porch of a seaside house, with a gentle breeze and no one bothering you. It’s soft, comforting, and has something addictive, but soft. For me, it’s like a light lilac-haired cat, very soft and striking (if this makes sense to anyone xD).

  • Paula Marina

Comforting fragrance; the citrus and neroli give it a special touch. It’s a sweet acid that instantly puts you in a good mood… fresh and clean! I love it, lasts about 3-4 hours on the skin, but if I run out, I just reapply. Perfect for spring and summer!
