1, 2, 3 – First Impression: a start that doesn’t quite fit. The opening is peculiar, with that acetone-like, synthetic edge that hits you hard on the nose. I immediately thought of a banana, but not a natural one—more artificial and creamy, likely due to the ylang-ylang dominating the top notes. I’m not hooked by this intro; it’s aggressive and chaotic. But it does have one merit: it evolves. As it dries down, it softens, settles, and reveals something more familiar, smelling like a perfume I already know, though I can’t place which one. The trail is powerful and impossible to ignore, but beyond how it changes, it doesn’t win me over. It’s not a bad perfume; it’s well-made, has body and personality… but it’s not for me. It leaves me with a sense of distance: I respect it, but I don’t desire it.
